hello,
I am PR and my wife is a Turkish citizen, the estimated time for Quebec sponsorship is over 45 months right now! we are thinking of just applying for a visitor visa for her and doing an inland PR application once in Canada.
Does anyone know the success rate of visitor visas for spouses?
and does having dual intention (applying for a visitor over to do inland PR) impact the visa decision? any advice would be appreciated.§

Hi, I did Vistor Visa first and inland PR application. Inland is on the way. I still didn't get AOR. I got my visitor visa within 12 days.
I submitted my spouse - Leave application from job. around 20K CAD as saving. our relationship proofs. Got a letter from HR too for leave approval. and some paystubs.

I applied visitor visa first, and I am currently working on PR application. if you can get NOC from your wife employer, and show $10,000 in your account and also at wife account, i don't think you will face any problem in obtaining visitor visa.

Hi Raghav,

What's the update on your spouse's Inland application? Also, could you please share how many months your partner got the leave from her employer? I mean, how many months are recommended? And, did you mention ('Dual Intent') that you will be applying for Inland PR sponsorship once your partner is in Canada?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Could you please share more about NOC from the partner's employer? What should we get in writing from the employer? Did you mention ('Dual Intent') that you will be applying for Inland PR sponsorship once your partner is in Canada?

Thanks for your help in advance!
