how many weeks after SA does the GCMS notes start to have something? I'm thinking about ordering them but I don't want to order a blank copy...just got SA about 2 weeks ago

My husband is going through Ottawa, too. We ordered his notes 4 months after I received SA and there was really nothing exciting in them. A note that we sent an updated FBI check in March, but that was it. However 3 days after I received them, we did hear from Ottawa for additional documents. So they must have opened the file in the month it took to receive the notes. If you're going through Ottawa, unless you sent in additional documents and want to make sure they received them, I'd probably wait a few months before ordering them if you want to see any notable movement on your case.

What is difference between Inland and outland application

i got married in India this January. We didnot go out for honeymoon..as she is teacher , and final examinations in her school were approaching, she could not get off from her school, though we went to local sightseeing places, so many times..

We explained this very nicely and exhaustively on separate paper...what are your thoughts????

Well you never know right? It happens. That's why I check GCMS notes every 2 weeks for any signs that something is wrong

Do you get quicker responses than I have? In Nov. 2013, I used the online ATIP, and it took 2 months to get a reply..

Just a quick question, does that mean GCMS note is going to be available to those that have applied for PR and waiting to hear response from CIC. if one is yet to apply, it means CIC does not have any information pertaining to individual right? Am just going through the forum and i see many people mentioning GCMS note, that why am asking.
Thanks all

correct. if you have not sent in your application to cic and don't have a file open, then there won't be any notes from immigration because there is no file to look up. Now, if you have had dealings with immigration before (ie: visa application, previous sponsorship), then there may be some information available through the freedom of information act, i am not 100% sure about this.

Your reply - 21 days! better than CIC! ;D

:)

I don't know if you have the same feeling as me, the rush you get looking at the comments the VO writes. I get to see a new set of notes every 2 weeks, that's going to be fun.

I've yet to get my first request from our current application (due in 9 days) - in your notes received, is there clear "progress" revealed?

got approval from mississauga...actually it is 48 days not 55 days
