Hey guys , This is Amit . I got married last year in south africa in November. We both are indian citizens and i have canadian permanent residency. It’s been almost 3 months since we’ve applied unbridge marriage certificate. We contacted our marriage officer he told us it’s gonna take some time and the abridge marriage certificate is as valid as the unbridge one(handwritten) valid throughout south africa and heard uk and Australia also accept it. We have a copy of civil marriage union register with stamp of DHA South Africa. So currently we’re planning to apply with what we have . We have photos and my wifes name on my work and insurance. Our documents and case is genuine. We hired a immigration lawyer to help filing our file . She’s positive about it . Just needed second opinion.
