Spousal Visa Eligibility is "in progress" for a long period

Hello People,

Does anyone have any idea on how long it'll take for the eligibility to be completed. Every step of my application is completed except Eligibility, and it is in progress since July 5th, 2023. My friends who applied after me got their PPR already, can someone give me more insight on how long it will take, or should I reach someone to get more information on what is happening.

My eligibility check started yesterday how long do you think it usually takes.
(Eligibility (inprogress for PA not for Dependent)

PA was dependent on PR application of sponsor will this help to expidite?

It's hard to say since the processing time varies for all applications. For some it's done quickly, and for others it takes longer. My husband's eligibility has been in progress since June and we submitted the application in November.

Got done with sponsor approval, biometrics, and medical. PR tracker - Background check 'in progress'. According the excel spreadsheet circulated on this forum - the next column after medical is "Moved to Visa Office (Call IRCC after App Received in ECAS to find VO Office)". How do I check if app received in ECAS? I need to find out my visa office..who do I call or email?

How do I check if app received in ECAS? I need to find out my visa office..who do I call or email?

Well I don't have access to ECAS, but you can also locate your visa office in your sponsorship approval letter. It would say in the letter "the application for permanent residence for your relative(s) will be forwarded to the visa office in _____ (visa office name) for further processing."

My spouse application is at same stage in Dehli office from January 2024 I applied for spouse in july 25th 2023 but haven’t received PPR yet or nthg background not started yet any idea?
