My fiance is new in Canada and he is a permanent resident can he sponsor me after we get married even though he has been there for afew months only ?? Or is there a waiting period before he can do so

He can as a new PR, if you don't know that much, it would be better you got a lawyer to help your guys.

You do not need a lawyer for this process unless you have complicated or extenuating circumstances.

Yes, he can sponsor you, but he must be inside Canada to do so.
