I need advice please.
Im from philippines my partner is a filipino but canadian citizen already. We are living together for almost 4 years now. He is divorced to his 1st and 2nd wife but his record in philippines still shows that he is married. Because there is no divorce in philippines. Can he sponsor me as his common law partner. As we are are in a relationship but we cannot marry here in philippines.

I believe that certainly he can sponsor you as his common law partner, and hopefully that his 1st and 2nd marriage weren't involved sponsorship. If, just if that he had sponsored both 1st and 2nd wife, and got them to Canada, then got divorced very quick, then you will expect that CIC will launch an investigation to deeply look into his marriage histories, and pretty much for sure that CIC will initially treat your case as common law of convenience. And you need to prepare a very strong case and to expect an long waiting for your case to be approved.
