Hi there! I am a Canadian citizen and my conjugal partner is a Filipino citizen. I can't marry him in the Philippines because he was married before and it takes forever for his annulment to finish. Can I sponsor him under the family class even though his annulment is not finish yet?

Please advice me on what to do.

Yes, conjugal app is mainly used for Philippines citizens that can't get divorced/annulled.

Thanks.
I've read in the documents checklist that one of the requirements is annulment document if he/she was previously married, does that mean that not the finality itself. Is there somebody here who had this kind of situation before or who is undergoing this kind of application? Please let me enlightened on this matter.

Submit all the letters he received from the Regional Trial Court that states the date of the collusion hearing with the fiscal, pre trial, trial, resetting of schedule. Also get a certified copy of the Annulment Petition. We applied Conjugal also and i had my passport request last January 14. Feel free to ask if you got more questions.

Good to hear that. So what else did you provide aside from the documents they listed in proving the genuinity of the relationship? Can you please tell me what you have done? So, obviously no CENOMAR submitted right. Thanks in advance, good thing I joined the forum because I was kind of frustrated in going through with the requirements.

I submitted my Advisory on Marriage (AOM), around 5 notarized letters of support and acknowledgment from family members, lots of picture, lots of remittance slips, communicatio, lease agreement, credit cards showing the same number, receipts of big purchases. You can add more proofs that will strengthen your case.

Thanks Brookslakeside. By the way, where did you get the AOM? Can you please enlighten on this.

This post was 7 years old. You're unlikely to get a response from the previous poster. If you have a question about conjugal sponsorship there are active threads that will likely be more useful :)
