Hi

I am working on applying for my spouse under family class who is currently in India and have completed my forms and documents. I was wondering if there is anything that I need to be careful about when submitting my application. Also, my spouse was earlier residing in Sweden for 6 years, first as a student and then on work permit but when he applied last year for an extension, his visa was refused.

Does that need to be noted on his sponsorship application anywhere and does that affect his process for the same?

I will also be travelling to India soon to visit him and stay there for a while. Any help with my queries will be appreciated.

Yes. You must include everything. To omit something as significant as that is misrepresentation, and can earn you a ban. You are allowed to write an explanation of why his visa extension was refused,
