Even if they refuse my application?
When. You are not eligible under the family class, so cannot be sponsored through the spousal route. The refusal is when, not if, it only depends how long it takes them to get there.

You can continue working on a valid work permit until the refusal, but should look into another PR route if you want to stay in Canada.

Hello Cseaadelheide

I am the PA and my GCMS show similar notes.
Although we were living together as students at the time, not in a relationship, but according to the GCMS notes, cic thinks we've been in common law relationship since then... we were not married before my husband got his PR, but cic thinks we hid the common law part from them...
Was there any progress in your situation?

Hi everyone! I'm worried because I got my gcms and it says: case referred for secondary review. Spr and pa have been married since 2015/09/19. Spr landed on 2015/10/3 and there is no evidence that this relationship was declared/examined when spr landed. Case referred to special unit for exclusion. Spr eligibility review spr is pr residing in Canada. Spr landed on 2015/10/3 as CE1 spr married to pa on 2015/09/19. Proof of marriage not provided. Does it mean that they will gonna refuse it? Thank u so much
