I think you should have asked for tracking and tracked the letter yourself to see and know where it reached at anytime to determine if it was there or not....so you made a mistake on this
Based from the tracking of the courier it was delivered.. Where else should I check? Tnx

Just reprint everything again and express it and have a letter written showing you sent it but you called and they say it was not with them to avoid extra delays...If they finds it later they can just destroy the other one because if you wait, this people you can never win over them when they say they don't have it....save yourself the stress and do express and send it again!! They can just tell you sorry and there is nothing you can do about it!! Man or woman up and do it again but don't pay just reprint and send them the confirmation number that it has been paid!!

Hi everyone,

I hope you guys have any suggestions. My spouse is Canadian in Canada. I am a from Philippines working in the middle east. We just recently submitted our outland application and was delivered to Sydney office last Sep 28 as per DHL. We haven't received any response from IRCC though.

Unfortunately I might return to Philippines by end of this month as my company started laying off employees. Will it affect our spousal application if I change my location and my job status immediately after submitting the application? and how will we be able to update ircc if this happened and we still didn't get the aor? Thank you so much!

As someone previously mentioned, won't cause a problem. Update you ur address after you get aor.

Job doesn't matter, if it's a spousal sponsorship.

How long after a marriage and marriage certificate is received, can you sponsor your spouse?

Hi guys,

I am looking for some clarification regarding Imm 1283.
I am Canadian PR and sponsoring my husband who is on a study permit (currently out of status for not going to school)

Do I need to fill Imm 1283 even though on the checklist imm 5533, it says

"Only Complete this form if the person you are sponsoring (your spouse) has one or more dependent children, who have one or more dependent children of their own. Note: if this does not apply to you, Write N/A next to the check box"

Please suggest what should I do in this situation

Answer seems to depend on whether your spouse has dependents (who have their own dependents).

We are married in Canada 3 mnths ago and do not have any kids or dependants

So I think no need of imm 1283

What are the other possible ways of IRCc to verify if I could support my sponsor

Have you read the applications instructions?

I sent a paper application for spouse sponsorship, PA has finished biometrics.

If i need to give an update regarding my (sponsor) employment status (new employment), should i just send the required documents through online webform?

Hello All, just need some assistance my wife forgot to type her name in the background schedule form and only signed it by hand, is it possible to that if she reprint her name and signed it and send it to me via email will that document be accepted of IRCC? I’m applying under outland spouse category

Hi,

How to answer the question:

Have you (the sponsor) previously been sponsored yourself for permanent residence? If yes please provide name of your sponsor..

I came here in Canada as PR via my mother's dependent thru live in caregiver path.

Should I answer the question yes? And enter my mom's details?

Thank you

Hi friends,

Need your Advice!

I am a Candian Citizen returned to Canada after a two years stay in India. I would like to sponsor my wife to Canada. My problem is that my wife is pregnant now, can I apply for her sponsor visa now saying she is pregnant? If so, what will happen at the medicals? When the immigration request to do her medicals, will the medical examination be completed with no issues or they will put the file on hold?

Secondly, during the middle of my sponsor visa application process, can I request to immigration to put my file on hold? If yes, on what all the stages can I request to put my file on hold and how long can I put it on hold?

Please share your feedbacks!

Highly appreciated!

Note:I am not worried to have my new born baby born in Canada.

Hi group,

This will help:
Someone who has already met with their partner in Canada in the last few months.

What is the review process for those vaccinated upon arrival in Canada? Is the process long, tedious? Or does it just take a few minutes without so much complication with the officer?

What are those steps when arriving?

Thank you so much,

Do you mean for landing process or for someone already resident?
