Sometimes online status will not update quickly. DM is awesome. You will get PPR soon. Mostly they send emails in a batch and with corona situation not sure when they will but decision made is great news. Whatss ur timeline ?

I had my husband as non accompanying spouse on my PR application when I applied for PR. Now that I am in canada, I applied to sponsor him. He had his UCI as non accompanying spouse on my application back then. My lawyer submitted his Outland application but did not mention his UCI, will that be a problem?

My common-Law partner and I applied in in April 2019 and still have not received his PR yet and no decision made. I am a Canadian Citizen and Sponsored him in Quebec. He received his work permit and Quebec gouv has accepted him, as well as done his medical before COVID happen. I was wondering if anyone else was in the same situation or applied around the same time as we have, may have any insight on how much longer it may take for us.

any information or similar stories would be appreciated.

wow that is pretty nice. You got decision made so its almost done. You just need PPR now which you will get soon.

I applied in April 2020 , yet no AOR. I guess Feb/ Mar applicants are still waiting for AOR so not sure how long IRCC will take?

Yes, As far I know after March 18 no application is not processing in normal way due to COVID-19. They are processing before march 18 applications. So dont worry, they will start your processing soon in sha Allah. They are just waiting for the situation to settle down a bit probably. Because giving PR is meaningless until they allow people to enter other than just peoples time frame to enter canada will waste.
I am also waiting for my next step. Hoping for the best and good luck to you too

Hi Everyone,
I am applying for the family class sponsorship and I am now trying to obtain the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from India. BLS has asked me to provide an invitation letter or documentary proof of applying for residential status. Since I am applying under Family class (Common-Law) I don't have an invitation letter. What to do? I don't have a marriage certificate as I am in a Common law relationship. Please suggest

example mine says the IRCC will request one when needed. It does not ask you send one before as the high commission also requires IRCC letter. .Make sure what it says on special forms required. and also if you must send without being asked. Any one here with india may be can help. Mine is not india.
