I got my PR! They received my application on December 13th, and got the final approval today. Only two things left for me to do, which are pay the right of PR fee and go to Vancouver for the final decision. Two questions, how long does it usually take for them to give you an appointment?
And, the instructions say that after paying the fee I must print it and submit it via this form. The thing is, that´s an online form, why print it? It doesn´t make sense...
With regards to the PR fee receipt, you need to print and upload the receipt so they know you paid. You pay online through a portal that doesn't have your application number or any other identifier tied to your payment. Once you print it out and send it to them, they will mark you as paid and issue you an appointment. I don't believe they will give you an appointment til you provide proof of payment.

That's what I did. I didn't print it though, I sent the receipt that I downloaded directly. I mean, why would I print it? To scan it again and send it to them? That doesn't make much sense.

Anyways, so I paid, sent the receipt online and hopefully will get an appointment within days.

Hi,

Me and my girlfriend we want to apply for sponsorship, her being my sponsor, had a look through paper work and stuff and seen something which raised a question, medical exam and police certificates for the person who is sponsored and family members. Family members meaning parents and siblings? Or just dependant children? Thanks in advance

I don't think they will ask for parents and siblings unless they live with you. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

In this case the family members are the accompanying dependants that are coming with the principal applicant.

Thanks guys! Really appreciated as i was getting worried

No worries. In addition, dependants are those below 22 years old. 22 and above are no longer considered dependants unless they are still financially dependent to you because of mental or health condition since before they become 22.

Patience is the key! I want to share mine.
Almost 6 months, finally. Status changed to "Final decisionYour application was approved."Oct.1,2018

File received April 4,2018
Done medical May 22,2018
PPR Sept.28, 2018

Long wait from medical to ppr almost 4 months. It's worth waiting for!
Think positive. You'll be approved soon. Make it sooner.

Tip: Prayer.
Godbless you all!
Congratssss
