Put the city you were born in. I put Detroit not Michigan - trust me governments already know the answer to this question they just need you to put it in the form.

I got my PR in september 2016, I went to canada for 20 days...came back on 13th october as my marriage was on 20th november.
I landed in toronto..came back..got married and my marriage certificate has address of toronto.
Is it possible that now i move to BC and sponsor my spouse from there or I have to sponsor him from toronto only?

I didn't have a choice really. Not long before my visitor visa expired i ran into some problems with the law and the police confiscated my passport. I applied for a extension of my visitor visa but this was denied saying i already spend enough time in Canada and that i should leave, they gave me a voluntary departure confirmation, but since i had no passport and i was going to court i couldn't really do anything with that. When my court problems were solved i tried to pick up my passport from the police, intending to leave Canada, but they already forwarded it to the CBSA. The CBSA later contacted me inviting me to an admissibility hearing, i went there and they gave me a exclusion order of 1 year. I bought my own ticket, showed it to the CBSA and went back to my own country.

"Dealt with within the context" basically just means that you don't need to submit a separate application for it. The ARC will add almost certainly add months to the processing time and IRCC will not continue to process your PR app in the meantime. You really are just better off serving the Exclusion Order and applying after.

How fast are sponsorship applications being processed? I think i will fall under the Vienna office. Do i really need to wait till my exclusion order is up or can i apply like 2 months or so in advance?

Need Help !!

I had an interview On NDVO a week ago, now i received PP request mail. It says to submit passport to VFS.
But they have already kept my passport at the time of interview.
so i mailed NDVO about this situation, bt no reply only receivec the confirmation of mail.
Anybody got idea or gone through this situation?what to do?

I have a question.

My wife is sponsoring me. She was sponsored by her brother 1 year back.

Now in document checklist IMM5533E Question no. 4 under the heading of 'previous relationships' it is asked that was the sponsor been previously sponsored? Now as she was sponsored previously by her brother under family class but the question is under the heading of previous relationships and all other 3 questions under that heading is regarding relationships. What should I do? Should I check it yes or no?

Please help me from your experiences. I am so confused.

No, thankfully the charges were withdrawn, so i shouldn't be criminally inadmissible. I hope.

There has not been any change/addition for the last 10 months. The last thing says medicals accepted like 10 months ago.
Is there a place/phone number I can speak to a real person regarding my outland spousal sponsorship application ?
Also, since Im here, I am Canadian citizen, can my wife in Colombia get a visitor visa ( if possible )for say 6-12 months so we can be together here during the rest of the long wait ? It's been 18 months that we are apart.
She was already accepted for a 3 year visa 2012 to 2015.

sure, there's nothing stopping your wife from applying for a visitor's visa. it will have no affect on her spousal sponsorship application. whether she is approved for the visitor's visa depends on her ability to show strong ties to her home country.

there's no one to call specifically about an update on your application. the best thing to do is to order your file's GCMS notes. This will tell you if there's been any movement on the file. also, you may want to find a thread specific to the Colombian visa office to see how long it takes applicants to get approved. 10 months may not be out of the norm for that office.

generally the passport request will include instructions for sending the passport to Ottawa, if the applicant is in canada when the requst is made. she will not have to travel back home to submit her passport.

Try calling the IRCC help line. I am not sure if they can do anything, but it won't hurt. If that doesn't work, send an inquiry with the documents and explain what's happening.

How was she sponsored by her brother (was it "lonely Canadian" rule)? How long ago?

But yes, if she was sponsored - meaning her brother signed an undertaking agreeing to support her for 3 years - answer "yes" for that question.
