On MyCIC, the "Review of medical results" line changed from "Passed" to "Review in Progress" This was shortly after received AOR2. Is this something I should be concerned about?

for visa exempt applicants, it's normal for some not to receive PPR. From what I've observed, this is usually because the copy of the passport submitted with the application shows 1) a validity date more than 6 months from the time of approval 2) it is unlikely the PR applicant will change their name (it seems men and women who have changed their names already are the ones waived PPR). Also, additional passport pictures are not necessarily requested because those are submitted upfront with the application. Applicants who had their application forwarded to another visa office for overflow issues (ie: london to ottawa) may get an additional picture request because it's assumed the file is sent electronically and the original pictures are not sent to the new visa office. as canuck suggested, some visa exempt applicants simply get their COPR in the mail.

Andynd1uk canuck_in_uk CDNPR2014 thanks for your comments

Now we have a message on MyCIC that starts:
"These medical instructions are being issued since your application has been processed to the stage where medical examination results are now required. Please read these instructions carefully.
IMPORTANT: You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 30 days of the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application."

Does my wife really have to do the medical test again? She completed her exam in January 2016.

did you submit the emedical receipt with your application? either way, if she did the exam in january, then submit the receipt per the instructions provided.

what does it mean when you received an application number? Does it mean the application has been checked, complete and waiting for approval? Can anyone enlighten me on this? Thank you so much and good luck to all applicants. :) :) :)
