hello folks, I did a medical on 6th of Aug and received a tracking sheet for e-medical. My question to all - do we need to submit e-medical tracking sheet? or its of reference...

Appreciate for your response

Theoretically, the results should be entered electronically by the clinic however, we included a photos of the document that was received in our application package to let them know it was done (or the original and then kept a photocopy - I can't remember)

hi! Just want to know guys if do i have to send my old passport showing that i worked abroad for the past 5 years? i just renewed my passport recently. thank you.

Hi all,

We submitted our application in mid-July and received AOR last week via email. Does CIC communicate with Sponsors/PAs solely through email or do they also send paper letters via post? I am wondering if I should keep an eye out for any correspondence from them via snail mail.

did you chose to receive physical mail or emails ? if you received emails that's mean no physical mail will come to you as stated in the form you filled .

Thanks for the clarification, TANMEX!

1) You submit everything together in one application package to Mississauga.
2) Assume four months.
3) Once you submit the inland application together with the OWP you'll have implied status and won't need to extend your visitor visa.

Thanks for your prompt response :)

Hi guys! Finally sent out our application, but have this weird feeling that might have missed something, but oh well nothing can do now lol
We sent the package with UPS, and the lady there told me that she has an actual office address for processing centre in Mississauga and if we want to sent to PO BOX STATION B, we then have to go to canadapost and send it with them. She then said that no one will sign it there if it goes to PO BOX. I'm just wondering if normal, that the package wasn't sent to the address that was on cic website?

Hi Bonmanush,

I see by your signature that it was 7 months from the time your file was transferred to Singapore to the re-request for the medicals. I assume you submitted the medicals with the initial application and they had expired by then, is that correct?

We received the letter that my SA was approved and the file transferred to Singapore on July 28 and now I see that it is posted that they started to process my wife's application on Aug. 01. We did the e-medicals in Bangkok on Aug. 06. The hospital said they forward the results direct to CIC.

I see that in spite of the 7 months between your file transfer and the medical re-request your whole process was about 1 year. Is that pretty normal?

Thanks

Hi

Normal process for SVO is roughly 6-10 months from applying to PPR.

Follow the discussion on the Singapore thread to see more timelines and information about applicants processed through SVO.

Thank you very much for your reply! I feel so much better now lol
I checked delivery address and they put exact same address that you mentioned earlier.
At least now I know it goes where it should go. Thanks again! ~~
