Hi guys,

Im just new here. Me and my husband got Married last August 2010, Now we are waiting for our authenticated marriage certificate so we can proceed to our application.

Here is my situation.

We met online way back October 2005- Met in real Jan 2006.. since then he always visits me every three months, overall he visit me 11 times for 5 years and this year we decided to get married.

Now my question is

1. Before i applied for trv and caregiver's visa and the two application was solicited! .. i read some forum site that multiple of entry will cause refusal! soo i hope this will not be a problem!!

2. We get married sunday, and we have a beach wedding.. in a resort here.. but on my marriage cert it says that we married monday and the marriage was held in trial court coz the judge said there is no sunday marriage in philippines. so what i will gonna do now? i will just at ease whats written on the marriage cert??

3. We had a big age gap. but we had lots of evidence that our relationship is geunine! DO you think almost 5 years in relationship is enough to satisfy them that our relationship is genuine??!? and do you think age gap matters??

Thats all for now guys.. Please help me, coz i really cant sleep thinking about this...

Does anyone know how much a sponsored spouses previous relationship history is viewed or affects the VO's decision on a PR application? It is a canadian PR application.

Thanks Leon! I'm a stay home mom now and I guess I'll just wait for my PR then. Can I attend school through online then? Or can I do an upgrade for my education while waiting for my PR decision since there is a college nearby our house.

You may take courses of up to 6 months without college credits. Otherwise you will need a student visa.

Hi,

You have been supporting alot of people.

please help if you can.

I am living in United Kingdom and i am a Pakistani National I am on Student visa in uk which expires in April 2011.

I would like to get married to a canadian national who is coming to uk, if they have a religious ceremony and get a religious ceremony certificate then can you apply for the canadian visa. and how do I apply or should i go to pakistan and get married then apply.

If he goes to Pakistan and perform marriage over there and takes his medical from UK how long would it take him to get the visa after they apply.

How long can it take me.
Please advise.

Thank you

Hi, I've been reading this thread and have gathered alot of very useful information. Thanks!

I am married to a Canadian Citizen and would like to gather some pieces of advise, as we are about to submit our PR application.

I am a Philippine Citizen but was sent to Nicaragua for work purposes. I stayed there for 2 years under a temporary resident status. This is where I met my Husband (who by the way has a dual citizenship: Nicaraguan-Canadian) We had our civil marriage in Nicaragua and is planning to have a church wedding in the Philippines in 2 years. I am yet to register myself as under a married status in the National Statistics office in the Philippines.. My status in Nicaragua is Married.

I am currently under a visitors pass in Canada living with my husband and as I mentioned, we are in the process of applying for a PR. My first question is, in my case, what do you think is the best way to apply: Inland or Outland? We are considering doing an inland application since I have not registered our marriage in the Philippines. We do however, have all our licenses brought from Nicaragua. We are more or less complete with all our documentations and proofs

Second, I enterd Canada last month and have 5 more months to be legally in the country. Should I apply for the visa extension now or wait until the later?

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

We received your application to sponsor RAMP on August 17, 2010.

Wait until near the end. If they give you a 6-month extension, it may be 6 months from whatever day they issue it. If that was next week, it may be 6 months from next week.

Hi all!!

I'm wondering if I need to send my original marriage certificate or can I send a photocopy of it?

Thanks in advance~~

You should submit the Original Marriage Certificate.... :)

Really? I am doing an outbound spousal application for London visa office and do I really have to send my original marriage certificate over to Mississuaga for sponsor approval for them to send back to London or can I just send a copy?
