sorry, not sure what to say. same situation here. my 2 kids eligibility not started yet but bio, medical completed and background in progress. my spouse completed the 3 sections and still on background verification. no pre arrival notes received. is this normal too?

did you get a pre arrival notes?

Hi I got prearrivals on 24 October. All stages completed on pr tracker but no final decision.
 
Just a bit of background on our case.

Applied in 2020 October. Got a refusal in Feb 2023 reason given the officer didn't find the relationship to be genuine. We appealed, provided all the evidence needed and our appeal got approved after the hearing in August 2023. The file was opened last year after IRCC was provided the appeal approval document but since then they have asked for re-medical, Police Clearance Certificates (again), we submitted everything in first week of April (within the 30 days time period) and the status was changed to completed except the background check which shows in progress since April 4, 2024. Everything has been completed Medical, Biometric, Eligibility.

How else can we find out other than contacting IRCC regarding the delay as we have already done that. Any suggestions. Can we contact CBSA or RCMP to get notes.

Hello I need some help with signature of two forms. Few of the forms are online and we don’t need to upload them back just type our names as per our passport.
but we are confused with Imm5532 (relationship information evaluation form) and also Imm5476 (use of representative form) due we need to digitally do a signature on our computer ✍ or just type our names as per the passport. Can someone guide me what is the correct process.

In my case, IMM5532, we clicked Microsoft print to PDF > changed the name to something else > open that file and typed our names. It was all okay.

I didn't use the representative form so I can't answer you that but all forms that I had to sign, I just typed my name. Again, I simply followed the same process by print to pdf and rename and save, open and sign/type name.

I have two questions about the spousal sponsorship application on the online portal:

  1. Uploading Certified Translations: I have a two-page certified translation of my birth certificate, where the first page is the English translation, and the second is a certified true copy of the original non-English document. When uploading this, should I include only this two-page document, or do I need to also scan and attach the original non-English document, making it a three-page file?
  2. Uploading Digital Photos: For the PR application, is it necessary to scan and create a two-page PDF that includes both the front and back of the printed photo, or can I simply upload the digital photo file

Hi, my name is Diya, and I am from India. My husband lives in Canada and has permanent residency. I am now applying for my spouse visa.

On my birth certificate, my father's name has an initial, while my passport does not include this initial. All my other documents also do not have initials; only my birth certificate has this issue. I can't edit the passport because my 10th-grade certificate does not have an initial for my father, and updating that certificate is a very tedious process. What can I do in this situation, and will this affect my spouse visa?

please guide me well
