i am october 2021 applicant received adr 3 weeks back
does anybody know how much time they take to responsd and send ppr?
my background check is complete and eligibility in progress
visa office london

If it was for an updated Schedule A or something of that nature, then it is likely to provide more information for the background check. Given the backlog that London VO has right now, It is normal for this to take from weeks to months depending on the nature of the document they requested.

Hi, I am a PR in Canada and recently applied for an inland PR application for my wife (on Oct 23). We received a medical examination request on Oct 28 and got that done by November 8. But neither I nor she has received AOR on our registered email ids as yet. Though the medical exam request had an application number starting with "F". Here are the queries:

1. Is it normal to receive the medical request before receiving the AOR?
2. Do we still need to wait until we receive an AOR before we can apply for her Open Work Permit?
3. Her status in Canada as a tourist expires on Jan 15'23. If we don't receive AOR before Dec 15, will we have to apply for a visitor extension instead?
4. Also, I wanted to clarify, if we get an AOR before December and apply for OPW in December, does she still have to apply for a tourist visa extension?

I am in urgent need of some expert advice.

I can feel your stress through your words, the application process is not fun and confusing to most.

When submitting an electronic application, the AOR date typically corresponds with the date that you click the submit button. However, the date on your AOR can sometimes indicate one or two days later due to technical glitches or time differences. Since you have received a medical request, and have the F number (which is your application number) your application is in process. The online system does have some glitches and bugs that they need to work out. First if you have not already done so, I would sign up for the online PR Tracker (Sign in to your status tracker (cic.gc.ca)) this will provide you with the application status and extra information about the stage your application is in.

I would apply for the OWP now, but keep in mind IRCC will need the medical results in order to approve the OWP. IRCC will see that you have a PR application and at what stage it is in, then connect the two on the backend including the results of the medical. I also apply for a visitor extension right away. That will take care of the time delay between processes.

When you log into the system, you will clearly see where you upload your document types. As for the supporting documents such as translations and images, there is no specific order to upload them in, and any document that does not have a category goes under other. Just make sure the file name describes what is in the document, for example: Translate-Marriage.PDF or Person-Name-Birth-Translate.pdf.

for common docs like marriage certificate do I have to add my/wife LAST NAME-FIRST NAME-MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE-TRANSLATED or just MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE-TRANSLATED ?

Assuming you mean her fiancé: yes, but not as fiancé. She will either have to marry him or sponsor as common law - this possible only if they lived together for 12 months continuous in the past and can prove it.

Marrying: as far as I'm aware it's not required to be 'legal' in the USA to get married (nor in Canada), but I'm not an expert. Note he'll also at some point need passport.

Very important: when applying, he MUST be truthful about his overstay/status in USA.

If there is GST or whatever, it will be included in the amount and calculated automatically (you don't need to do any calculations yourself).

Just Marriage Certificate Translation works. They assume that the names on it will be the PA and Sponsor.

As soon as you receive a message stating that you are eligible, you should receive the medical request shortly after that. I am not too sure about the PC since they sometimes request it sooner than they actually need it. Often, the PC is requested along with an updated Schedule A when you pass the medical.
