Plz reply friends.
I would like to clarify.

Yes you are free to apply for a study permit. It will be separate from the outland PR app in progress.

Salam all and a very Happy Ramadan to you all and your families.

I need some help here if someone can help me I would really appreciate it.

If someone had 2 interviews on any of the letters sent by registered mail at the bottom was there a mention of bringing pass port and if your spouse was here was he/she also to come to the interview. Was it mentioned to get Police Clearance too.
I made a mistake in the months its now 46 months were waiting not 44. Also we have contacted the Union Council and the Nikah signer and they both were not contacted by CIC Islamabad.

I'm going to go to the Interview but I'm afraid that I may loose my temper so please please pray for us and me to have more patience. Its July 7/14 at 10am. Please keep us in your prayers
In Sha Allah..

you have quite a long while to wait. my suggestion would be to find the manila thread to see what the trend is for your visa office. for the most part, people spend 6-8 months in near silence after the application is sent to the visa office. the longer visa offices have yet to start processing applications recieved in february.

Hello everyone,

I have a 1 year exclusion order because I admitted to overstaying my visa.
My partner now feels we should get married so we can apply under spouse sponsorship.
I have read some comments across the forum with members stating that this could be viewed suspiciously by CBSA
Should I be worried for getting married after being issued with an exclusion order?

Thank you any thoughts regarding this issue,

We just sent our inland spousal application last Monday. I currently have an OWP but will be expired in December of this year, my question is: can I apply for a study permit for my grade school daughter who is still back home? What is the likelihood of her being approved? thank you in advance!

I'm confused by what you mean he applied for sponsorship last year then again this year? Was he not approved the first time, or the application sent back? Did you apply inland or outland? When exactly was the COMPLETED application sent to Missisauga (both sponsor and applicant portions)? Did you receive sponsorship approval and just waiting to be approved as a pr, or haven't even received sponsorship approval yet? More specifics are needed for anyone to know how to direct you for help.

Hello, I need some information regarding spouse visa in following situation:

I am Permanent Resident in Canada from last 2 years staying in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I have married an Indian national girl who was earlier married in India in to an Indian national in 2008 and after their marriage they went to Australia same year. After 5 months of staying there, she get separated with her ex-husband and return to India while her ex-husband keep on staying there on his temporary visa. After separation, they got there mutual divorce filed and approved in Australia in 2013. In March, 2014 she got re-married to me.

Now someone told me that it is mandatory to add spouse surname(my surname) on her passport in order to get spouse visa of Canada.

If yes, is her Australian Divorce Certificate valid for re-issuing her Indian Passport or we should get an Australian Consulate/Embassy attestation or notary attestation will be enough?

Please do help.......!!!!!

It's not required by Canadian law. Her documents will be issued in the name on her passport.

I have a question about the form 5669 background question number 6 letter e

It asks if you have ever been refused admission or been ordered to leave Canada. My wife was denied a tourist visa in 2011 does this count as refused admission?

Yes it does count

So do we check yes then and write that she was refused a tourist visa in 2011? Do we have to give details of the reasons why?

I was just looking at the same form; 5669 question 6 letter d. It says "Have you ever been refused a temporary resident visa"? And letter e says "Have you ever been refused entry to Canada"? So as I said my wife was denied a tourist visa in 2011. We need to check both boxes I guess?
