Time posted on the CIC site is how long it took them to process 80% of applications. In other words, 20% of applications took longer than 25 months to process and 80% took 25 months or less. So yes - it's very possible that your application will take less than 25 months to process.jcruicks said:HELP!
Okay so I applied to Sponsor my husband who is currently in Senegal back in June. I just got approved as his sponsor from Mississauga and now the file has been sent to Dakar for processing. I myself, am a born and raised Canadian so I do not really know how this whole thing works. On the CIC website it says the estimated wait time for spousal sponsorship is 25 months. I HIGHLY doubt that our case is difficult to process with all of our proof, being the same age and having previously lived together for 3 years out of wedlock prior to getting married. I am wondering if it always takes the full estimated time or if it can take less? 25 months is such B.S. and puts such a strain on our relationship! Somebody please tell me that it can go faster?
absolutely...........confused sponsor said:Since my husband and I have a child together, do we still need to provide phone and email records and other proof other than photos?
They should have given you a copy of IMM 1017. You need to send that copy with your application (and KEEP a copy of it for your records). There is a unique serial number on that form that allows them to find your medicals in the IMS computer system.Serenity482 said:do i have to send the medical results directly with my application? I was already at medisys and they send me results to ottawa. so i dont have them here..
She can apply for a tourist visa but it is harder for spouses to get accepted. In any case, you should apply for her through India because it is faster.craving_soul said:is it possible that i apply for PR for my spouse from India( she is in India) and get her tourist visa so that she can come and stay here while PR is in process.
It will not affect the PR processing.craving_soul said:in that case it should be accepted, only thing i am worried that whether canadian tourist visa will affect the pr processing.
