How long does it take now? i am afraid mine may not reach on time?
Yes, his children do need the medicals done and the only way to get out of that is that if the mother of the children has full custody and flat out refuses the medicals and this needs to be proven and documents because immigration Canada does not want children left behind unless it is for a good reason. Not getting the medicals for the children means he can never sponsor them. If their mother dies or they grow up and want to leave their mother and live with their father, it will not be possible unless they get the medicals now.xprecious32 said:This spousal sponsorship thing is way to complicated. We're trying to do it ourselves as we don't have alot of extra cash floating around. Just found out that my husbands medical in Massachusetts is going to cost him $400.00 dollars, and from what I've read he needs to get medicals for his children even though he doesn't have custody of them, just in case he wants them to come to Canada at a later date. If they don't get there medicaks done they won't be able to come. We just got married May 19th 2012 in Masaachusetts and i'm already back home in Canada trying to figure this all out. Please someone help.
