58 days remaining, but still didn't get the AoR2. I don't know how much I would have to wait further. COVID-19 is hurting like more than a disease. Life sucks, living without spouse for more than 15 months is painful for us, and seems that wait is not going to be ended soon.

im a January 2018 applicant .We first applied September and three months later they returned the application because we were missing 1 translation . We resubmitted then two months later got AOR . I can only imagine with the pandemic it is going much slower and from what I have been told they are only working online application so don’t do paper applications people . Don’t make the same mistake I did , online processes faster!
Hi!

Oh i'm glad that you are not waiting since jan 2018. I know that we are few still from 2018 but others are a little bit in 2018 late.
I found nobody here that have been waiting as much as us. We are so desparate and really lost hope. It's the most unhuman thing I never been through

I agree with you it’s completely heart breaking. I’m very sorry you are waiting so long . I will say a pray for you that it will end soon . Nobody deserves this treatment. Family belongs together ❤

Hello,

I'm new in this forum and I got a question for one missing information. I'm the sponsor for my spouse.

I'm filling the form IMM 1344 (Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking). On question #7, it asks for the date when I obtained the status "Naturalized Canadian Citizen" and asks for the UCI number (my client ID). I lost my citizenship certificate (or is it called immigration certificate?) so I cannot find this information. I still have my citizenship card with the issue date in year 1998 (doesn't show exact date). I followed my parents to immigrate when I was young (not required to take immigration exam for me).

Questions:
- Do I need to provide the copy of my citizenship certificate for the application of my spouse? or my citizenship card is sufficient?
- Do I need to apply a copy of citizenship certificate with this link? https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/proof-citizenship/about.html
- Can I put the date 1998-**-** on the form?
- If I really need to apply a copy of my citizenship certificate, can I apply it with my spousal application at the same time? because it would take around 5months for a copy of citizenship certificate.

Thanks a lot
Just give an update for anyone who missed the citizenship record. I ended up to pay 75 CAD for the search of citizenship record online. I clicked on "urgent" for my request and gave the reason that it is for filling of this PR application for my spouse. Surprisingly I got the answer in 48 hours. Initially, I read another website, it tells people to put an approximate date for this question with an explanation letter that you have lost this record. I was planning to put an approximate date since the search of record could take up to 10 months. Even with an urgent request, the gov't website advised that it could take around 3 to 4 months. Now I got the answer in 48 hours and I have no need to guess a date :)
