Hey guys,

I am filling the form, specifically the IMM5669- Schedule A- Background, and I have a question. I hope somebody can help.

In the section of personal history. I have this situation:

example: Chris was working in Italy from Feb 2009 to Dec 2011. During that time he went three times on vacation outside of the country.

Feb 2009- Dec 2011 Work
May 2009- Jun 2009 Vacation
Dec 2001- Jan 2010 Vacation
Jan 2011- Apr 2011 Vacation

The form does not allow me to validate because I have to put the last event first or there is a gap. What can I do in this situation? HELP!!!

hello everyone, I am confused about the photo size i need to provide with the application. does is need to be 50mm/70mm or 35mm/45mm? does it need to be in matte paper? please ans my query.

Hey Guys, I need your help with the form 5669.
I can't validate it. I mentioned every single trip and activities during the last 10 years, some of the trips overlap with the activity at the moment, for example, I was working but I traveled to another country for 5 days and I continued working on my return. Should I exclude the trips? I don't know what to do this is the last form to validate to send my application.

You can't do it like that. It has to go in order.

What I did in a similar situation (I was a student for 5 years during which I had multiple trips and long vacations) was something like:

May 2011 - Dec 2011 Work
Jan 2011 - April 2011 Vacation
Feb 2010 - Dec 2010 Work
Dec 2009 - Jan 2010 Vacation
July 2009 - November 2010 Work
May 2009 - June 2009 Vacation
Feb 2009 - May 2009 Work

That was the only way I could get it to validate.

So I studied 2011 - 2016, but I had a dozen entries in between for every vacation I took during that time.

Hey all,
Have a quick question. My application was received on Jan 10, 2019 and I received my AOR 1 yesterday.
I downloaded and started working on the checklist (IMM 5533) on Nov 30, 2018. Then before I sent out the application I checked IRCC website if there has been any update on the form. I noticed it said Jun 2018 on the bracket. In reality if you download the form and open you will see it says 12-2018 (means the form has been updated in Dec 2018). However, I did not download that time since I saw Jun 2018 in the website and ultimately sent the old checklist (Jun 2018).
Now, should I send an eform stating that? Or they are flexible? I am sure few people might have done the same mistake. Any comment on that?

Hello everyone my app was recieved on october 22 2018 got aor1 jan 16 and biometrics jan 26 and sponsor approval janurary 31 and medical was passed on feburary 8 2019 i have not recieved file transfer yet is that normal i heard that my file could be in security check?? Im very worried because people have got file transfer right after medical passed.. my app is in mississauga and recievef everything from mississauga pleasr help im so worrird...

Worry is a waste of time.
You are only into it just over 4 months and everyone gets background/security check.
Find something positive to do!

Not everyone gets their file transferred. Some will stay in Mississauga, so don't worry!

today i was checking my junk mails and i found that letter sitting in my junk e-mail.

and the deadline to have my biometrics done is feb 21-2019. which i missed.
today i called the biometric centre to ask them if i can still come to give my biometrics and they said no you have to call the visa centre and they will give u info.

i am so stressed what should i do next.

any advise will be very helpful thanks

They do advise to add their email to avoid it going into spam, or link your account online. What does the letter say will happen if you did not give your biometrics before the deadline? Try calling them, just be honest and see what they say.

hi need some advice po meron na po akong visa pero ung baby ko still in process pa din po ang proof of canadian citizenship nya napag abutan na po sya 3 years old na po si baby question po pano ko po masasabay si baby magpunta ng canada pano kopo sya maaplyan ng canadian passport without her proof of canadian citizenship halos mag 8mos na po ang application nya upon checking via exas line 2 palng recieved palng po till now no update sobrang stress na po ako kakaisip pano ko sya masasabay salamat po sa laht ng ssagot.

Hi, as per my experience on filing our sons proof of citizenship, it's quite surprising that it took only 5 months of waiting when cic released it.We applied Jan. 2018 then received May 2018. And as per their website maximum is probably 9months for processing it outside Canada application. I think its better to contact them about your application to know more on the status.

I was about to do a final check of the forms before sending when I realized that the checklist was updated. And it says that I must provide certified translations of the proof of contact documents. Is that true? If yes, then how do I get them certified in Toronto?

Application sent: Nov 27
Received: Nov 30
AOR: Jan 23
Medical Received: Feb 5
Medical passed: Feb 11
Background check in progress: Feb 11
OWP email: Feb 27

First question: Does anyone knows how long it takes until the Sponsor Approval and/or AIP after BGC in progress?

I was wondering if you guys know this/have an idea:
If I decide to change jobs now, before I'm approved as a Sponsor, would that affect my eligibility for approval in any way?
