Ok i see. Thanks. I just placed my address. By the way, in Schedule background A, the last page was asking about the address for the past 10 years or or your 18th birthday. whichever is most recent. Do not exclude any period of time in this time frame. Do you have any idea about these? I have already filled up. My address started out when i was born till my 18th birthday. Then we transferred to a new location when i was 19 years old up to present. Is this ok?
It depends on your age.. whichever is more recent... How old are you?

Hi everyone! My husband will be sending our spousal sponsorship application within this month. My question is what would be the best reason to use if we want to apply for TRV with my husband who is know a PR in canada. We have applied for TRV last June 2017 but our application was refused. It said "given economic conditions, employment prospects, considering your travel history, economic establishment and family ties. I am not satisfied that you would respect the terms of your admission as a temporary resident in Canada." We dont know what it meant since the reason for the refusal was so broad. Your advise on this is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Applying for TRV especially for Filipinos married to Canadians has low chance of approval. They will just give you same reasons why it was denied just like what happened the last time you applied for it..

I applied once for TRV before we applied under spouse sponsorship. I think I've send them enough documents to show my toes in the country, including 2 land titles under our name (my spouse and I) , and pictures of our house here in ph.. But still it was denied. It's just heartbreaking that you know you've showed them enough and still they deny it.. Giving you grounds of it's denial, which you think are all included in your application.. Leaving you clueless why it was still disapproved...

By anyways, it won't hurt.. Just apply again, it's case the case basis.. my case might be different from yours.. and who knows? Maybe you're luckier this time.. So good luck!!

Hi. Based on what i have understood on the document checklist, you need to fill.up the imm5476 use of representative form esp when your spouse is the one applying for you (spouse is your sponsor) and you as the principal applicant. Otherwise, your whole application will be returned. It doesnt mean that you should hire a lawyer. If both of you are working on the documents, you put your spouse (sponsor) as ur representative. Please refer to this link for use of representative guidelines. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5561E.asp
Hope this helps.

Complete this form only if you:

  • are appointing a representative;
  • have to update contact information for your previously appointed representative; or
  • are cancelling a representative’s appointment.

If you don’t appoint a representative then the applicant receives the correspondence however you can allow for the sponsor to be the representative.

Ok, so you have to put your address from 28 yrs old to present.. 10 yrs ago.. coz it's more recent than when you are 18yrs old...

You shouldn't leave any gap...
So when i was 28 years old, i still live in the same address which is the address i am currently residing. So would it be ok to put only one address like 2001 till present? Before 2001 where the place i was born, our house was burned so we transferred to another place which is my address today.

Yeah it's ok to have just one address if it's the same address in the past 10 years... It's same as mine...

It's ok to put from 2001 to present if it's the same address... that's how I did it too.. I wrote from 2003- present, though it's more than 10 years.. coz it's the same address anyways..

With regards to your form imm5476 relationship information form, did you literally put N/A in all your documents? Example, "do you live in canada?" Answer is YES. There is also an a question for NO and there is a space provided for an explanation why you answered No. Do we need to put N/A so that no blanks left unanswered? Or just leave it blank? Some of the people i talked with in this forum left it blank and praying that their docs are not returned. Luckily their documents are ok.

I would recommend to to show your history starting from your 18yo. Because I've heard lots of stories, when people described only last 10 years, but then VO would require an updated Schedule A form with the history starting from 18yo.

Ok. Thanks. In my form, i included the address where i was born till i was 20 years old then we transferred to a new location last november 2001 because of the incident that had happened. So there are two entry dates when i filled out the form. From oct 1979 to oct 2001 then nov 2001 to present. Would that be ok?
