Hello Everyone, i am going to send my application now but there is 2 different addresses for outland applications. 1 for sending application by mail and 2nd is to send by courier. May i know what is the difference between by mail and by courier? I am sending my documents from pakistan, which Option suits for my application?

I provided both up front but had my schedule A request online as soon as I was able to link. Time frame in my signature. It will be fairly soon I suggest take the steps for your Police certificate now.

Hi:

Need some guidance around employee verification letter. I requested a letter of verification of what I needed and it was completed by my employer sending me a pdf copy of the letter with a digital signature. Would this be sufficient for the employment verification letter?

Please help. I am partway through collecting all the documentation and this is one of the items currently bothering me.

Question about police certificate. I already have these, should I send this as a part of the application that I am sending? I had these done, as these take a long time to get processed.

Actually I would suggest not sending it with the application, or, at least, save a copy of the PCC that you can upload if necessary. Some people who've sent their PC upfront have had some confusion when they get a request letter for the same document.

To be fair I provided my Police Certificate up front but submitted before Jan 31st, but also with new forms...kinda a gray area. I'd suggest waiting until they say upload it. I didn't have a request to upload the Police Certificate, just the Schedule A. It looks like my application was approved as I have a DM on both sponsor and applicant side now with ECAS.

As barch88 mentioned sending up front police certifcates still seems like a gray area. I sent both up front simply because I already had them and according to the help centre they want you to include them with your application:

Need help!

I am filing out forms to sponsor my wife and I have 2 questions. I really appreciate your help and thank you in advance.

Form:

Supplementary information your travel form - This is the additional document for Indian citizens. It ask the principle applicant to fill and list all the trips the applicant has taken plus it asks the same details for the spouse as well. I am the sponsor so should she fill wherever I have visited in last 10 years or she should leave that empty as she wasnt a part of my life until 3 month ago. Please suggest.

Checklist form - Birth certificates for the applicant plus applicant each and every family members birth certificate as well. So does she need to provide birth certificate of everyone or for just herself.

Review of medical results - You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents - Not applicable.
Interview - You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Is it just a change in style, as I have read in some parts of the forum?

Seems to be as there are many reporting the same shift.
Check your status on ECAS -- some are showing as "Decision Made" (although it's unclear yet if that's accurate as all the other stages are showing as still in progress...)

No changes there, still the same, review in progress, medicals received.
I hoped for a time that things got moving faster.

The country specific documentation required for principal applicant to provide originals in the application for Birth Certificate or Education Certificate. Since my wife has only one original which is in not such good shape and knowing mail delivery system where mail can get lost in the country I have included a notarized copy of the document. If anyone can reply to this I would be thankful.
