Spousal Sponsorship

I applied inland spousal PR application for my wife in Januray 2016. After lots of delay by Canada Post, its been confirmed that my wife application reached CPC-M Missisauga. I believe we will be receiving AOR number after couple of months. My wife is in Visitor status valid till October 2016. She arrived in Canada by the month of November, 2015 and can stay till May, 2016 (Six months Duration). I am planning to apply for open work permits to applicants for permanent residence under the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class.

Since my wife did not receive application number for her PR processing, what is the proof that I need to show during work permit application. Please guide me?

Most people with inland applications just send in the work permit with the PR application. You can apply using her UCI number from her visitor visa, but if you don't want to wait for AOR you should at least give them a copy of the PR fee receipt as proof. Hopefully they will figure it out.
