Hello. I am just wondering if anyone could help answer some questions regarding the spousal sponsorship process. My husband, who is Canadian, and I were legally married in Newfoundland last April/2015. Is it possible for him to sponsor me, even though he is a full time student receiving student loans? Are student loans classified as social assistance? Does he have to meet a minimum income requirement as a student, or is that waived because he currently has no income?
