Hello everyone

I find this website very helpful so hopefully someone can help guide.

My husband has been out of status since 2015, we got married in sep 2018 and was in the process of filing is paper work but he got picked up by cbsa due to the police record he went and did( he thought he needed to do police record with application)

He will be send back to Jamaica unfortunately, but my questions are:

Will he have any issues coming back into Canada. Am afraid they may say he is not eligible to return, I know the cbsa person said he is on an exclusion, but am just scared. The lawyer we have just want to charge us all this money to file the paper work but not sure if I need a lawyer to file them for me.

If you are applying to come to Canada for any reason, (visiting, studying, working or immigrating), you should not submit a separate application for an ARC. If your application is approved, the ARC will be dealt within the context of that application. You will simply be asked to submit the fee.

Ok am just going to process his application and submit if, if he needs to come back early then I guess this ARC would need to be filed. Am just hoping because he had this bad impression on his file that they will say he is not welcome back. We are in for a long and hard road.
