Any update?

Hi

I have several questions regarding my application about Spousal Sponsorship Canada - Quebec

My wife is a Citizen of Canada

I have applied for my PR in the month of August 31st 2018

Aug 31 - AOR

December 19 - They started processing my application

December - Asked to take a Medical test

In the meantime we got a mail saying my file has been sent to my Embassy in New Delhi

Jan/ Feb 2019 - The Ecas Page shows Medical results have been received

In the meantime i got my approved CSQ ,in the Month of March 2019 they sent me a letter of Pre arrival Services

I have done what needs to be done with the pre arrival benefits

Since March i haven’t got an email or any update about the next steps

Since we have a Law firm taking care of our file , i out of curiosity wrote to them and they checked my status,



My current application status is:

Review of eligibility:
We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results:
You passed the medical exam.

Review of additional documents:
We do not need additional documents.

Interview:
You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics:
We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Background check:
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision:
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.


Does it mean my PR is approved or is there something more to it


I am confused with all of this information and nothing is making sense at the moment,

I applied in August 2018 and now it’s June 2019

In the message the law firm sent me it shows a 12 month duration in total( Estimated Processing time)

August 2018 - August 2019

The estimated processing time was around 14 weeks left when we got our info on May 29th from the law firm


Kindly help me understand what my status is

I suggest anyone to do the medical upfront!

My husband got his CSQ 3 months after I sent the App to Midi. It was rec’d Jun 3 got the answer August 28.

Right now, his medical was approved but I’m not sure what happens next?

Hello if anyone is facing delays on CSQ for family reunification, i am an outland applicant had submitted my file on June 17th,2019 (CSQ) Normally the QC immigration issues it in 25 days but as per shown on their website they are processing files received on May 15th, anyone in the same situation?

Check the updates on their website regularly... they were backlogged due to more applications being received...

Hi there,
I think you still have to wait because there is no mention of biometrics ?

Also check with your immigration consultant or contact cic to know about your current situation.It should not take over a year.

Do we have to wait for medical request letter from IRCC to medical or just go to an IRCC approved doctor to do it?

Forever ..... I had called them today, they are just making up excuses, we needed documents, we got them after and when i asked my lawyer about any documents were requested by MIDI? they said never. They opened my file on June 19.....3 months later still waiting... Truth is, they do not have enough staff, the ones they had probably left jobs because of BILL 21. Bienvenue chez Quebec.

Look up the doctor on their website and go. You may have to pay to get it done.
Then send the information to them. I’m not sure how to go about getting it to them because he was asked to do it by IRCC.

You should receive a letter with your receipt of payment and the confirmation that they received the package. That would be the date.

Look up the doctor on their website and go. You may have to pay to get it done.
Then send the information to them. I’m not sure how to go about getting it to them because he was asked to do it by IRCC.

I think it’s best I wait for them to request medical to be done by IRCC

I don't understand these dates either are these dates from applications processed from the date they received the application or from the date of accuse de reception??
