hi there,
i just sent off the spousal sponsorship forms last week and now obviously can't think of anything else but that.
a bit of background:
i'm a canadian citizen, my wife argentine.
we got married in december 2012
we met in 2011
i lived in argentina for almost a year in 2011-2012
i'm a graduate student
she had applied for a TRV last summer for come visit canada with me, when i was returning to go back to school.
the first time she was refused because they said she didn't have enough ties to argentina... fair enough.. the first time she didn't submit return tickets either.
but the second time she applied with much more documents [property ownership, family information, money in account and return ticket] and an invitation letter from my sister [since i am/was a student] with her account information and income and all... and she got the visa.
she came to visit, stayed 2 months and went back to argentina.... i started my final year in grad school in canada...
then we planned our wedding and got married and i sent in the applicaiton for sporsorship...
soooo...now i'm getting nervous about the old TRV applications and if it'll affect the spousal sponsorship... the rejection.. and the fact that the letter was written by my sister and not me.... am i just paranoid? because i submitted i would say a 'super-organized-super-complete' application with many photos and proof that we are legit... but i guess i can't help but feel this way until i get an answer...
any thoughts? pleaseeeee share... i need to work on my thesis and can't think about this
