13 January 2020 I got a letter that an in person interview is required and your interview will take place sometime between next 6-12 months.
February 15 got a letter that your interview scheduled for 17 March.
17 March had my interview
20 March pre-arrivals

Has anyone's spouse with an expired COPR successfully gotten an ETA for soft landing based on travel exemptions?

The CIC website states that any copr holder cannot temporarily come to canada and can only come if they are planning on settling permanently. They can come temporarily only if they meet other travel exemptions. Immediate family members of canadian citizens who plan to stay in Canada for at least 15 days are under the exemption.

Im a canadian citizen and will be going to Canada in october and would like my husband to accompany me, after which he will return and wrap up final affairs for permanent settlement early next year.

has anyone done something similar recently??

i am june 2019 applicant and my file transferred to LVO in Nov 2019.. they started working on my file from nov 18 and lockdown happened in mid march so basically i just want to ask you guys LVO had 4 complete months before lockdown but after Aor2 in nov i did'nt hear from them and now its been 10 months since they started working on my file.....my case is going very smoothly mahsaAllah.. i am just worried why is it taking so long? is there anyone here whos also june 2019 applicant and got Aor2 in nov but after that they did not contact you? i am very upset because my medical got expired on 20 th aug...
