My husband applied on 27Feb,2018. Medical and file transfer to London office was done in April. Since then am waiting for some update in my Gckey account but its a complete silence from Embassy. Can anybody tell me when should I expect my passport request?? And what is the usual complete process time for Pakistani applications nowadays ??

Average is 12 months. Some take less, some more. If your case is straight forward (rukhsati, first marriage, not huge age gap etc) then it may get done in about 10 months. I'm Feb 22 applicant, file transferred in April, nothing since then. Mine is 2nd marriage though so I dont expect anything anytime soon.

Alhumdulillah, my process has reached the final stage and now awaiting PPR. Thanks everyone who shared their timelines on here. It made it easier to see what is going on at LVO (to some extent, but their process is still very vague ). Below is my complete timeline:


App received: Jan 16, 2018
Aor1: March 3
DM on ecas for sponsor: March 14
Med req: March 15
Schd A request/Nikka Nama/Marriage license request: March 19 (Nikka Nama/Marriage License was provided with initial app but they requested agian)
Medical test conducted: March 26, 2018
Medical pass on GCKey: April 3
PA's ECAS - PRAS In Process: April 5
LVO Transfer Email: April 11, 2018
LVO started processing file on: April 18
Pre Arrival: Oct 27
BGC Started: Oct 30
DM for PA: Oct 31

This is everything beside the actual application forms that I submitted (hopefully i covered everything). No voluntary docs were sent after application submission.

1. Chat history between spouses (before and after wedding)(8 pages), 2 pages of call logs
2. Facebook post of us announcing the marriage
3. WhatsApp group chat log from coworkers announcing the wedding/sharing the wedding pics
4. Boarding passes of all family members who traveled to Pakistan to attend the wedding
5. Boarding pass of our honeymoon
6. Money transaction as proof of financial support
7. 20 pics of Wedding/valima/dawats/honeymoon
8. Wedding/valima invitation cards
9. Police certificate
10. PA's birth certificate (photocopy)
11. PA's NIC (photocopy)
12. Copy of Nikkah Nama (English translated and certified)
12. Copy of Nadra marriage certificate

sorry .. cudn't come here till today .. my hubby is loving it here .. its the start of his 2nd week .. hes going to Manitoba Start program to know everything he needs to know .. he applied for his medical card last week .. got his SIN here in Winnipeg .. i applied for few jobs for him .. he will settle down very well ..
