I received a email yesterday that my application is transferred to London visa office could you please tell me how much time it will take after this... medical is done
The average processing time is 10 to 12 month these day from the day your application was received by Mississauga. So don’t raise your expectations to high coz it will hurt you later On if you won’t get the decision sooner.

In Spousal Sponsorship application package, there's a form IMM 5562 - Supplementary Information Your Travels, I wanted to know, does a sponsor (Canadian Citizen / Permanent Resident) need to fill out that form too??? or only Principal Applicant's Travel history is all that is required?

@Pak0403 - like how you keep everyone grounded , with dont keep ur hopes up , or expect anything . U must be really a patient person
people need to be extremely patient with this process. keeping high expectations of paperwork completing early only causes more frustration with an already frustrating process.

they say officially 12 months, so always thing 12 months or more. if it comes early, then you will be happy that it came earlier than expected :)

No I am not a patient person at all really but that’s all I have learnt in this process. You can raise your expectations too high if you want like me and then get hurt and frustrated it’s upto you brother. I gave you a suggestion that’s all

thanks sister. I had very high expectations when i applied because everyone was saying that, ooh the processing time is 12 months now and people are getting in 6 to 7 months and it made me so frustrated, annoyed and disappointed after 7 months and i don't want others to go through the same. . Yes there are very few lucky people but majority of the applications are being done in 11 to 12 months. I applied in October 2017 so i have already passed that early decision time period and now hoping that it ends with in 12 months at least. I wish you all good luck and you guys get reunite with you love ones as soon as possible. AMEEN

I was told the same thing by everyone, that processing time is about 12 months maximum. My case is past the 12 months time now. It’s all about patience and staying strong. With every new week and every new month comes a new hope.

To be honest I am happy if my application is done within 12 months now. After seeing so many applicants going over 12 months now all I want is that I get decision in 12 months not more.

If any one can help plz answer and help me thanks
It is very unfortunate condition when someone’s background checks are in process and it takes a lot of time because background checks are done by third party so even LVO have no idea how long it will take. Just pray and hope it done soon, if you get remedial request that will be a hint that your background checks are done and you will get a decision pretty soon after remedial.
