Hello my fellow Pakistani applicants,

I need some more guidance from you all.

Scenario:- I have got PPR. I am engaged. (not married). I am doing my first soft landing in Canada on 15th September 2017 for two weeks. My marriage is being planned in February 2018.

Queries:-

1. Do I have to wait for PR card to be processed before I get married or the fact that I have done my landing before marriage is enough? Please do let me know.

2. I am engaged. Once I will sponsor her after getting job in Canada; telling about engagement will make my case stronger or not? Since I am planning to add 5 or 6 engagement photos. Or will it harm my application? I am asking this because maybe the CIC officer will say that you were engaged for 2 years so why are you getting married after your PR? Do they analyse this way or am I over thinking?

He doesnt have to go to UAE to grt PCC it can be obtained while staying in Pakistn. A person just did that and posted about it in the Spousal Sponsorship from Pakistan group on Facebook. Check this link to the post https://www.facebook.com/groups/186911295081562/permalink/346227272483296/

The procedure of obtaining UAE PCC when the incumbent is currently outside of UAE is mentioned on the CIC website.

you can apply online at dubai police website, they will charge you 300 AED. Its very easy you can apply online and they will send you PCC via email. goto www.dubaipolice.gov.ae

It won't harm if you include your engagements photos, I also informed then that I was engaged to my spouse first then got married, so yes you can include your engagement photos as well.

Give them a valid reason that why u decided to marry her after 2 years

Scenario:I have another query as-well. Checklist IMM5533- Q7(e)-Requires documentary evidence of financial support between you and your sponsor. and/or shared expenses.

Query:Now the fact is that I will be sending her money after Nikkah till June 2018 from my employment income in Qatar.
After June 2018, I will be in Canada permanently and will be searching job hence no income. How can I prove to CIC about the fact ? Is it ok If i transfer her my End of Service (a material amount) that I get upon resignation from Qatar and she can withdraw small amounts via ATM to show CIC that she is using that fund? Will this work out?

Or how have other applicants fulfilled this requirement. I am only worried about this one. Rest are pretty straight forward.

Hi can anyone please tell me when ill get my initial reply, will be through e mail or will i have to link my application. I applied on the 26th of july and according to the tracking i got , the application was received on thr 27th of july. Now ever since im paranoid that they might send jt back because i havnt received any e mail yet

It has been 14 months. Sponsor should contact MP so that MP can find out status of your file from LVO.

I got DM on 13th Aug and was waiting for PPR. Mp called cic and told us that they sent PPR two days ago but lawyer didn't get anything and MP called again and they said we have sent it by airmail to lawyer so you will get it in one or two days. This is strange and confusing me why PPR through airmail why not email? They have our email

My husband sent them an email as well. They never responded. We saw on MyCIC that they needed more documents but never received an email or any attachments on MyCIC regarding the list of docs they require. Its been 8 days since he emailed, and 11 days since I launched an inquiry. No response. In your inquiry did you just ask for the status update?

please update excel sheet: file transferred to LVO on 17th August and ecase status changed to "In Process" for both Sponsor and PA

ALHAMDOLILAH New baby born and also inform LVO about it. Applied her birth certificate from union council, then will apply bay form from nadra then I guess FRC also needed. Please anyone can guide is there another documents we need.
Sponsor is Canadian citizen so he is applying for her Canadian citizenship certificate.
