I was asked for additional documents on 31st january 2017..
I submitted docs on 20th feb 2017.
Any one knows how much time they take to verify requested documents ??

It is all a matter of luck.. some people hear back after a month .. others after 3 months...

Can u just let us know the date u applied? Actually we are so anxious to hear any news from LVO.. and them working on july files gives us immense hope..

Sure, I will inform all of you as the process moves along.

On Jan 28, we received a medical request. My wife is going for the medical today.

Eligibility is still "review in progress"
Medical results "review in progress"
Interview: "not needed at this time"
Background check is needed: "In progress", went in progress today/yesterday

Not sure how they moved towards background check without yet receiving the new medical test.

Also, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, My wife is getting the medical done today. Will she need to send any paper or form digitally to LVO? Or will it all be done automatically? The medical is being completed in Islamabad.I am worried because we completed the medical after 27 days of the 30 days they give us. So just want them to get the results ASAP.

Please let us know.

We did medical yesterday at Islamabad. They didn't give us any receipt. They said results will be sent to CIC in two days.

Since you have only 3-4 days left in the 30 days notice, ask the doctor for any kind of receipt or something, just in case there is delay in sending the medical results.

Just curious, why are you doing the medical after 27 days of receiving the notice, why not early.

hi everyone again
in my application status the said they received my application on june 2016 and the started work on my application on july 2016
my lawyer received some concern about more communication prooves and pics and asked about rukhsati on november 9 2016 and suposed to reply with in 30 days i had replied with more prooves on 15 th november 2016 but not new news yet frim LVO
my wife is living in canada
i have to questions
1. when my time duration actualy starts from june 2016 when they recieved my application or 14 july 2016 when they had started work on my application
2. its has almost 4 months gone from my reply , how much i have to wait mor??

Various reasons. Anyhow, I think perhaps I should send them an email to let them know that the medical has been completed within the given time period. The rule is that the test must be done within 30 days, which it has. Does anyone have any advice as to which email address I should send the email to? Thanks

As far as what I have heard it starts from when your application was received at CPM.

Your a June 2016 applicant so they are working on June files so Inshallah you should here soon

I have a question need some clarification :


"Educational documents for your family members such as transcripts indicating a list of courses taken, scores achieved as well as certificates obtained."

"Educational certificates and transcripts must be issued by a post-secondary institution that is accredited by the relevant government authority".

I am sponsoring my wife from pakistan without any children.
Does educational documents required for spouse visa ? if yes ,does it mean matric , fsc, bsc transcripts and degrees attested by notary public ?

I didn't. New checklist doesn't ask for it and it wasn't listed under country specific forms either.
