Hello mates, Like all of others, i am here for guidance. New member, so many queries. Can anyone please explain me what should i write down in Q:4 What preparations have you and your sponsor made for your move to Canada?? (Country Specific Guide) (IMM3907e)

Inshallah...waiting and hoping for some good news this month inshallah. I talked to my MP yesterday and she told me to reach out to her in couple of months since CIC is going to take few months to make decision on eligibility then background checks takes additional months for them to reach a final decision ???

Anyways, we can all wait and see what transpires but hoping for the best as always

Is it possible that contacting MP can give detailed answer as on which stage our application is??? I mean background checks r started or not etc??? My husband tried to contact MP but his secretary said that as the application is within processing time frame so they cannot contact CIC about the progress (useless)??? Any way to get details???

passport photo requests do not necessarily mean that the file has been assigned to a visa officer. given that the request came so soon after the file transfer, it's likely that this was most likely just a quick check for application completeness before they put it away on the shelf to await initial review.

No, I've tried asking this specifically and they (MP) always gives the generic answer of the 'within processing time'.

don't pay any attention to that "within processing time" bakwas. the visa officers at LVO don't pay attention to it, so you don't need to either.

barkatain, i think it's time you order your gcms notes. i still think that the VO is waiting for you to send in a new FBI cert, but let's make sure there's no other issues holding you up.

I believe the same as I was also asked for photos within days as well... and mycic remain stuck as eligibility review ...

How will I know when Mississauga receives my application? And how long does it take for the file to transfer to London Office?

You can track from your postal/courier service when it was delivered. Also CPC Mississauga will send an email after 10 or more days that they have received it. and you will get an application Number on this day.

Then your sponsor will be assessed and your sponsor will receive communication from CPC whether they have been approved or not..this is called the Sponsorship Approval letter. When SA is received the letter mentions that your file has been transferred to LVO.

Yeah really.. it scares me when I see nov applicants still pending under his review. Although i was excited when i received request of updated schedule A but its been 3 weeks now.. I feel worried now..

thank you matheeno! i'm praying that they clear out the remainder of november and december in the coming weeks. i don't want to leave anyone behind.
