Its a bit confusing who should sign where

For the GCMS notes, You may fill the following consent form and put Sponsered spouse information and signature in section A and sponsoring spouse information and signature (Canadian Permanent resident/citizen) in section C before uploading it by following the procedure in the link shared by Khan1001.

What to do, if one does not receive the GCMS notes at the 30 days mark?

You will get it in 30 days.

Salam,

I'm just gathering the information for my wife and I see that in the document checklist it asks for "Schedule A - Background / Declaration IMM 5669" and "Additional Family Information IMM 5406" for my wife and each family member 18 years of age or over. Does that mean that her brothers and parents also need to complete this form? I'm not sponsoring them, but they still need to complete both of those forms? Seems bit odd, unless i'm reading it incorrectly.

Initially the Sponsor will receive emails "AOR1 and AOR2" after the sponsor approval when the file is transferred VO then applicant will receive update/queries regarding the case.

My wife contacted MP in winnipeg , and he told that still there is nothing new update regarding your husbands application. although they have recieved your new born baby's birth certificate.. It means long way to go still

Yes long wait until nov applicaions are finalized.oct applications took 2 month for completion.nov applications comoleted two month but are not yet finalized.i guess we dec applicants have bad luck..
Please nov and dec applicants pray alot.do some wazifa so that we get out of this mess.

I talked to my MP yesterday and they said we shouldn't be looking at e-Cas at this point since our files are transferred to LVO. We should only refer to MyCIC now.

Also, the MP told me that the file will be looked at by summer 2017 since it's only been 8.5 months ???

wtf, summer 2017 puts us at 18-20 months. take a look at the 2013 applicants on http://bit.ly/canpaktimeline and you'll see that the straightforward cases averaged around 12-14 months, and these people applied at a time when LVO was backlogged with apps transferred over from islamabad. are they trying to tell us that we're going to be in for a longer wait than THEM? right...

landing_pr, is that something that the VO told your MP, or is your MP just guessing based on the 24 month average they see on the CIC site?

It's the officer who told my MP ??? The background check hasn't even started on my file yet :'(

I've given up :-\

Positive note was that they asked me to contact them again in few months for another inquiry :-X

Its so frustrating to see all this happening to us..whats the reason behind all this..are they so damn lazy that even after two months they cant even finalize at least one or two app per week. Uugggghh where to go what to do. :-[
