Hi there, I just received my gcms notes, and it states,
" an original upfront medical report form (IMM1017B UPFRONT) signed by a panel physician or an E-Medical upfront medical notification information sheet has not been provided. ''

My husband already got his medical done, three days before submitting the file. It was an upfront examination. What exactly are they asking for? Did I mess up somewhere?

After completing medical, they give you an e-medical receipt. Did you include that with the application?

Even if you have, I would scan the receipt again, and send a Case specific enquiry and attach the document to it.

A friend of mine who applied near the end of October got a document request asking for a decision made from an arbitration council regarding his previous divorce he filed in Pakistan. He already submitted a copy of the divorce certificate which has the date of effectiveness written on it. However, he received a letter asking for a decision made from an arbitration council. What does this really mean?

Could you please advise me where should he get a copy of the decision made of the divorce certificate and what they really mean by the decision made from an arbitration council? He only has about 25 days to respond so please suggest something for him.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Who do i send the case inquiry to?

If your notes say your file is being processed in Mississauga then you would be sending Case Specific Enquiry to Mississauga (LVO for London applicants).

It happened to my wife and medical results wouldn't show on ecas. I sent an inquiry and ECAS was updated 2 months after they had received my inquiry.

oh, i didn't see that. does mississauga still process family class PR applications? i'm pretty sure they stopped a while ago.

nabia, check your sponsor approval letter to find out which visa office your application is being processed at. as far as i'm aware, mississauga only processes the sponsor and then forwards the application to another visa office (usually london for pakistani applicants).

I don't know how it works with your country. But we submitted legalised copies with our application, but we still got doc request. We in our own minds thought they misplaced the doc and sent copies again via CSE,email and by post, almost 45dats later we got another final doc request else application wld be denied. In the 2nd letter they probably insinuated that they wanted original without saying it explicitly...we have now sent our original copy and hoping for the best.

So if I were to advise you, after you obtain this document (sorry I don't know how in your own case), endeavour you send original since it can be re-ordered from your court/council with a fee.

First of all, did you send the e-medical receipt with the file? If you sent it with file then I would suggest wait for a month after principal applicant side shows "In Process" on ECAS and then check.

I am december applicant and my wife is sponsoring me. We have used a lawyer and he already sent the copy of e-receipt of my medical with application package. My Ecas showing in-process since 24th feb, but its not showing medical results have been recieved.
On the other hand, ECAS is also not reliable source, as my wife got SA on 22nd Feb, but its still showing "in-process" under sponsorship approval.
So just want to ask, whether i should send my e-reciept or not?

Sponsor side ecas will always show "in process" even after you receive Visa. For medical, I would say send it. You never know, CIC is notorious for misplacing stuff. This way, you will be sure that you have submitted a copy and it won't cause unnecessary delays in the event CIC has lost your e-medical receipt.
