Is it safe to assume that I will get an interview given the fact that I've had no communication with LVO thus far and most October applicants are cleared out now. I made sure to provide all the required documents and I'm positive that I did not miss a thing. The only thing they could potentially ask me is to send them additional relationship proofs, but if they wanted those wouldn't they have asked for it by now since mid-Nov applicants are being asked for additional docs now? Another thing is that my medical is expiring in mid-Aug.

Any insight would be helpful! Thank you !

You n me in the same boat .just pray for speedy process i dont know how lvo is working they asked all others members for remed evn two months before expiry date but we got no request so far .my medical expired in april and its been month after submitting add doc ecas shows still in process .i was very hopefull to get dm by end of june but now m worried too just like u of gettimg an interview call .we can't predict any thing about lvo they r so unpredictable about finalizing the app .only thimg we can do is pray ,pray n just pray

that's really odd. go to your MP and ask for an update. either they haven't started processing your file yet or they're hung up on a background/security check somewhere. i really hope you and snowy aren't in the interview queue...

I read on this forum few months ago
A member was asked by a visa officer, why he applied late.

In my opinion, if we address the issue (why we are applying late) in advance (at the time of file submission). This will make our file processing smooth.
A visa officer can show concerns why we did not apply earlier? If we have provided a reasonable answer, it will help to avoid any unnecessary delays.

lol, its actually applicant who need to fill out since inquire is regarding PR application at LVO, (I clarified from MP's office)

i recall LVO having issues with their email inbox some time in may. every time i would send a case specific enquiry or even a direct email, i'd get an auto reply from LVO saying they've recieved my request, but then their mail server would later bounce my email back with an error saying their inbox was full. the worst part is that this error notification would end up in gmail's spam folder which i rarely check. it sucks to think how many people lost valuable time or even had their app refused because of that.

so here's a tip for everyone: whenever you guys respond to a doc request either through case specific enquiry or through direct email, always check your spam folder after an hour to ensure that your email didn't get bounced back.

Guyz, i don't think there is to be a problem if applying late as i applied for my husband's sponsorship after 4 years of marriage and i have a son, MashaAllah so they didn't ask me anything until yet and they did not call an interview for my husband as well.... so its not something you should worry about...

the notes are good and will give you insight into your case if there are problems, but in the mean time i'd still highly recommend asking your sponsor to go to his MP and ask for an update. they'll call up the visa office and respond back within 1-2 days.

i've seen lots of applicants getting left behind while others who applied in the same month get approved. i don't know why this happens.

Yeah, I'll do that this week. Could me being a full-time student be the reason for the delay? I don't work. But I'm pretty sure unemployed people can still sponsor their spouses.

no, i doubt it. i've got a cousin who successfully sponsored his wife while he was unemployed.
