At the rate of sounding cynical, but I don't believe it since at the speed they are going now, that's what they were doing initially even before the notice. If they hadn't gone for a middle eastern 'vacation', we would be seeing November applicants go green on our spreadsheet :-X

Regardless, I'm happy to see progress ;D

on second thought, i suppose you're right. i noticed that because of their 6 week leave, the average time to DM went from 7.5 months to 8.5 months. really hoping this won't have too much of an impact on november/december.

got the PPR !!! shukar Allah ka only issue is my wife's passport is at canadian embassy how do I get it back.
Any advice

Finally, I got PPR today too, Alhumdullillah. Now will work on submitting documents asap. Congratulations to all. Please someone update the spreadsheet.

Hey Guys,

I need your help in regards to obtaining travel document from Islamabad. My wife landed in Canada on March 06, 2016 and then she flew back due to some family emergency and her PR card has not arrived yet.
Now I am thinking about applying for a travel document from Islamabad and I am not sure how long it is taking for them to process the travel document applications. We will be in Karachi but can my wife and I fly to Islamabad and then get a travel document in person or do we have to fill the application and then send them to Islamabad?
Please advise whether if its possible for us to visit the Canadian Embassy in person in Islamabad and get travel document and secondly how long it is taking to process the travel document applications. Thanks!
