Were they sent to the middle east for refugee files or spousal?? And if they were sent for the refugee files now they would appear to be back working on the spousals, right??

they were sent to process refugees, so yes, they should now be getting back to working on non-refugee PR applications. we can all expect applications to be delayed by 30-45 days.

Guys, I urge you all to write to the media to highlight your concerns. The government always listens to the media. We as Pakistani-applicants are at the bottom of the barrel really; other visa offices are moving quickly and IRCC has been the media's darling lately for that. No one will notice our plight unless we highlight it ourselves.

mccallum sent visa officers back to the middle east for 6 weeks (may 9th to june 20th). sad... if it wasn't for the refugees, you most likely would've had a DM by now...

You are right because this is the time when we heard no dms and ppr ...
I hope they get back to their pace now!!

I'm going to sponsor my wife and I'm currently living in Toronto. I've a few questions and they are mentioned as below:
1) Is is mandatory for the sponsored person to undergo the medical examination before her/his spouse file the case at CPC-Mississauga?
2) Is it the requirement to attach the Police Clearance certificate with the application to CPC -Mississauga?
3) Is it the requirement to submit the copy of CNIC and Passport of sponsored person to CPC-Mississauga?
4) And at what stage the RPRP fee is to be paid?

If there is someone from Toronto who recently has sponsored his/her spouse, please inbox me with your contact number so that we could discuss it on phone. I'd be highly grateful if someone help me in this regard.

Medical is done upfront and everything goes with the initial application package..
And the rprp fee, its upto u to pay it with the application or in the last stages of the application when they ask for passport to stamp the visa..

So for the medical examination, my wife will have to book an appointment with IOM Lahore and as soon as CIC receives the result, I can submit the application here in CPC-Mississauga right ?

Yes she need to book apointment through email at canmedpk@iom.int
And u dont need to wait for results
They give u a paper after medial is done
That goes in with the application
And iom sends medical result directly to cic when they ask them..

Salams,

I am getting married in December, my husband is a canadian citizen based out of Toronto.
So my sponsorship process will start after the wedding (rukhsati etc). However, I have been to Canada before and was thinking if I can travel on my visit visa to Toronto with my husband after rukhsati and stay there for a few months with him?
Would that delay my sponsorship process?

Very Strange Huh ! I had interview in March 2016 and Decision on my Eligibility was not made before 14 June , and on 14 June it updated online '' Decision made '' . Why they took over 3 months to make eligibility Decision ?? ... and now they made deciosn what DM can be any Idea ??
