What are they doing ... Man ??? ..... Intentionally or unintentionally they are jeopardizing People's Lives & Marriages ... Now a days America is giving spousal Visa within 12 months, 12 months are maximum. And Canada is taking Minimum 12 months in Average ... It hard to see your loved ones brust into tears every time you go live with them.

u forget to mentioned that US also give within 6 months even with Nikkah cases.

the processing times did decrease, but trudeau didn't have anything to do with it. however, the fact that the new govt aims to welcome more immigrants for 2016 and the fact that they've spoken of giving family reunification higher priority compared to other streams might help our situation.

look at all the people on the spreadsheet that have gotten DM within 8-9 months. if these same people had applied four or five years earlier, they would have had to wait 28+ months. it's really painful to think about what all those past applicants had to go through, but at the same time i'm glad that things have sped up considerably. i pray that every app that's still in progress gets a quick DM.

stop this bullshit, even from one month back to election Harper govt make it in 9 to 12 months, one side they saying we welcome new immigrants, one second they increase time from 17 to 28 months.

I'm a March applicant as well...still waiting..but waiting for Interview...we weren't even requested to re do the medical yet.

Yes, it seems they're slow in updating ecas. Additionally, i'm yet to receive AOR2 to PA notifying that they have started working on the file, but this is not a big concern as i can see on ecas that they have already started working.

London Visa Office doesn't send AOR2. When you see the line "we started processing xxxx application on xxxx date", that is essentially AOR2.

I am early september 2015 applicant , still no DM no PPR and members are talking about DM for october applicants .....worried!!

if your documentation is complete then according to my approximation you will get DM around July or August 2016
Have you sent proof of latest communication like chats of recent months ?? If not then do send .....

Another question i wanted to ask, once someone gets the visa how long can we stay in Pakistan to wrap things up here before going?

its usually a year from the date of medical
for example if u had ur medical done on April 2016 then ur visa will be upto april 2017....means u will have to reach canada before april 2017

After interview , almost 2 months are gone but decision is not made yet .. File is in Routine background checks what does this means ? What they were doing Before interview , if they start background checks now ??

Exactly. Nearly two months are gone here too i had my interview on March 17. My status has changed from in process to DM on 22nd April but no progress after that. its getting worrying!!!!!!

Does anyone know how reliable VFS online tracking is? I submitted my passport on April 5th 2016 in ISLAMABAD. Ive been tracking it the whole time and it said its been forwarded to ISB visa office but today I tracked it and it says my passport has been forwarded to ABU DHABI on 5th April. Is this a system error or should I be concerned?

Hi, I don't know what's going on as mine shows the same thing that passport has been forwarded to ABU DHABI office. Any one else has the same status.
Friends who got their passport back what their status was on VSF website.
