Hi Everyone

Person A came to Canada on PR in 2013 as dependent child of his parents. He was engaged since 2012, he went back to home country to get married with same person he was engaged with and lived there for couple of years, he is now back and wants to sponsor his spouse :

Now the question is

Could CIC raise the issue that why didn't you tell us that you were engaged at the time of your landing? (He said he was single on all his forms and in landing interview because there wan't any section for engagement on any form.)

Legally, you are still single even if you are engaged. There is no relationship status as "engaged", it is either married or single. So no, It will not be an issue.

It is getting really annoying from ipoo and hashipk. You guys have a problem? get each other's phone number and sort it out but keep these threads clean from insinuations and sarcastic remarks towards each others.

You guys are the seniors in this thread, if you keep acting like kids, then what kind of example are you setting for the rest of the members?

Anyone who applied in October 2015 or Late September 2015 have got DM or documents request?
I have applied on 6th Oct 2015 and haven't got anything yet after SA approval and file transfer email on 9th Dec 2015.

I am Sep 9 applicant, they asked orignal nikah nama last month.. Till then no reply yet.

I am also Sep.9 , 2015 applicant. After AOR and SA, no request for any thing. When I check ecas it says in process since Nov 20. I visited my family in Dec.2015 but didn't update CIC about it.

Hello,

My wife and I received emails from LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca last week. We've been advised to submit my (Principal Applicant) passport to VAC - Pakistan. Further, a scanned copy of a letter titled ISBAD VAC PHEP 2016 is attached with the email. The letter covers 4-Steps to performed prior to submission of the package (inclusive of the passport)

Step-1: Change in Circumstances
Step-2: Passport Requirements – Determine if you need to submit your passport(s)
Step-3: PREPARE YOUR DOCUMENTS
Step-4: SUBMIT YOUR DOCUMENTS

Step-1: Change in Circumstances

We have already intimated about a change in our personal circumstances (individually and a number of times) i.e. my wife (my sponsor); gave birth to our baby boy on June 09, 2015. As per Canadian Citizenship Rules (as listed on the webpage http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/rules/), our son is a Canadian citizen as he was born outside Canada after April 17, 2009 and his mother (my wife and my sponsor); was naturalized in Canada before his birth i.e. February 24, 2010. So, we are applying for his Proof of Citizenship followed by an application for Canadian passport.

Step-4: SUBMIT YOUR DOCUMENTS

We've been advised to fill out Appendix A - Updated Information Chart and send it over with the package. We were curious to know if we should fill in the details of our son and my wife (my sponsor).

1. Please advise on what information needs to be filled in the chart?
2. Should I be sending over photographs of my wife and our son in the package?
