Hello everyone,

I read that the applicant needs the following things:

Applicant:

Original birth certificate (if not possible, then provide explanation and other documents with date of birth, parents names and applicant name, i.e. marks transcript, affidavit of birth from hospital, family register certificate)

Educational transcripts, degrees and certificates

Medical Examination

Police Check

Family Register Certificate

We have the birth certificate, police check and medical, university transcripts, but what exactly is the family register certificate? And how do we get it? I am only sponsoring my wife, no children (we don't have any), nor any other family members. Thank you

Google "Family Register Certificate", it will bring you to NADRA website and there you will have more information. Sorry, I would've posted the link but the forum didn't allow me.

Just wondering where are you getting the required documents list from? I recently submitted my file and they didnt ask for Family Register Certificate from my wife.

I found that term on the faq's on the devoted pakistani spousal application website. I have also heard that if you are sponsoring only your wife and no children then you don't need it. But I just wanted to confirm since it was listed there and I was confused. It was also on form 3907e (check, I could be wrong).

Yes, my wife pretty much followed the guide. If your spouse doesn't have children then you don't need it. Not every form that is listed there needs to be sent. It is case by case.

We emailed to LVO after 3 weeks of visa stamp regarding original docs back. And after that we got docs within a week. Usually, it'll take a month. If you can't get docs in a month you can email to them.
In email, mention the docs return address. Usually its the same mentioned on ecas unless and untill someone modified it by LVO through emails.

Thanks, I received the original documents back today. Didn't have to send any specific inquiry or email. Passport came back after getting the visa stamped on Jan 22nd.

Received my passport back with Visa stamp and the COPR yesterday =)

I submitted the passport in the Lahore office on the 19th of January!

So it took 10 days for it to be returned with the visa!

Just received my passport back with Visa stamp and the COPR. =)

I submitted the passport in the Lahore office on the 19th of January!

So it took 10 days for it to be returned with the visa!

My husband got a call early in the morning around 10 am even though he had subscribed to the sms notification too, but they just called us. We went to pick it up at 12 noon and we got the sms at like 5 pm
