They keep all original documents until decision is made. So You wont be able to get back original documents until your wife gets the visa ( the whole processing time)
2ndly They will send back original documents to your Canadian address. So if you change your address. update your address with CIC Canada.

How long is it taking for cic to send permanent resident cards in the mail these days? My wife will land in march, 2nd week. I am just wondering by when can she expect her pr card to arrive in mail? Thanks!

Maybe we should add an extra column in the Spreadsheet for when members receive their PR cards. Will that be a good idea?

I am also aug 2013 applicant n file was transfered in jan 2014.. Did u hav interview?

Through my MP I came to know that my file was waiting for interview but they asked for copies of my passport which I sent so interview was waived.

What's the last communication you had from them?

Yes first of all my file went to ISL and then transferred to LVO so it wasted extra 5 months , Then we waited for 1 year because visa office timings were 11 months (so 1.5 year already passed ) then file went in background check and then remed , copies of my passport , updated form (they never asked everything together , one by one as testing our patience). I have 2 kids so it is hard but trusting Allah is the best thing . InshaAllah there is something better for us and inshaAllah soon we'll get it.

Is your visa officer LJF? Did u order notes or send any case inquiry?

Don't know about visa officer. We sent an email almost a month back to inform them that I did re medical. They replied your file is in waiting for officer review.

PR Card is processed after the person Lands therefore expect your wife to get her PR card sometime in June if she will land in March.

My husband has PR and he is in pakistan right now can he apply my immigration from here?

Please go to CIC website they clearly outline requirements to sponsor your Spouse. Its better to hear from horses mouth.

I sent my application to Case Processing Centre - Mississauga, 5 days ago - Xpresspost via Canada Post, and for some reason I'm unable to see the status as 'delivered'. I sent the application from Missisauga.

Is this normal? Does it usually take that long for mail to be delivered or acknowledged by CPC-Mississauga?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Xpresspost is the worst service and I am saying that from personal experience. The Canada post delivery system does not take any responsibility. You could check their website and try t track by the number they provided but Good luck if you could get some info. You should have used DHL or UPS for this kind of delivery.

Aplication rec : 28 sept 2015

Sponsor applroval : 2 dec 2015
E cas : in process
Additional docs req: quebec slection certificate

As they asked me quebec slection certificate to send them within 45 days i already applied quebec slection certificate which is now 3 week gone
Its look strange because ussualy quebec immigaration send quebec slection certificate directaly to LvO why the asked me to send them by post ????,
