No read carefully, you only put your name and address. Top portion asks for name and passport number etc. Bottom portion asks for home address if I remember clearly it also asks for all the names of applicants if e.g., your applicant and dependent children who's visa is to be stamped and original valid passport which should have more than one year validity at least and photos. Where it says spouse name that is you(Sponsor)

basically this is for the principal applicant (my husband)
so my husband will fill this form but in that same chart it asks for spouse or partner (as stated in passport) then moves onto things like eye colour etc So what I am asking is does he put my name in this chart (this is the chart ONLY for people travelling and being sponsored who is HIM ) the bottom chart you are referring to also asks for the principle applicants home address and no. because it keeps saying YOUR address YOUR number (even here my information is not needed)

If this is the case then where does my name (sponsor) go ?? or does it even go anywhere?

Thank you :)

This might sound a bit immature and provocative but we have many "romantic messages" if you know what I am referring to :P Do you think I should include those (did you?)?
Also any advice on how to retrieve really old facebook messages (we have like 80,000+)? Or is it fine just to include recent conversations? We also took plenty of screenshots on skype during video calls with our faces, but those don't have dates anywhere, so how could I incorporate those into my app.

Thanks

~Oh yeah, include the messages, and then include some where you guys are fighting too... just to make it look real. I did both.
~If you just keep going backwards in the chats from facebook, you will have record of everything. Unless you used a different account.
~I'm not sure, just include one or two regardless of dates.

Your information is not needed. It is only for the PA. He's the one getting the visa, not you!

Ok :) Just thought I might be missing something. For the height and eye colour its usually not on the passport right? So just estimate that if husband is 5.7 feet (convert to cm) and then eye colour is aprox. brown. Was there any other form or reference point which included these 2 things?

Seriously? :p include the messages where we fight?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Does my husband have to travel to islamabad to submit the passport? they told us to see this website http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/Pakistan/
but not that he has to travel there.. I think he should just to be safe and for a quicker return.

But what have people in the past done ?

His Height and Eye colour is mentioned in his application submitted previously just refer to that and copy exact information to avoid any conflict.

There are three offices (ISB, LHR and KHI) he can go to any one of the nearest one, but yes he has to personally submit PP there.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi everyone my first post here, I read a post above this which said it takes around 8 months from start to finish roughly to get a spouse visa for partner to come from Pakistan to Canada. Is that really the average time ? I went on Canada gov website yesterday it said it takes around 47 months for Phase 2 to get completed in full ? I might have misunderstood something but 12 months to Canada gov page saying 47 months is a massive difference..

I ain't got married yet so am thinking of doing it next year in Pak so i thought it's good to know about visa process before doing it..

Thanks All advice and replys are appreciated :D

Yes she need it . Better to take a flight which has a stop in middle east country , in middle east countries no transit visa required. u should change her ticket. This has happened with my husband last year , after getting ticket he came to know , so he changed his ticket to Turkish airlines and had stop over in Istanbul for 5 hrs though my husband is PR of Canada , but still transit visa was required for Amsterdam.

Thanks ahs. Did you submit original citizenship certificate of one of the parent? In my case, I have submitted true certified copy of my citizenship certificate and passport. I have applied four months back. I have also applied for my wife's sponsorship in early September, 2015. I intend to apply for limited validity passport for my 13 months old son, when my wife gets immigrant visa. How much time it takes to process the application for proof of Canadian citizenship in Pakistan?( if applied through Consulate in Karachi). Many thanks

We didn't send anything original for citizenship certificate either. It takes somewhere between 12-14 months as far as we have heard. We did send my husband's original citizenship card for temporary validity passport. It took them over 3 months to make the passport which is to be made with in 3 weeks as per their time line. I suggest u keep the time lag in mind before applying for passports as that might cause delays. Also the passport validity in our case was 2 years instead of one year.

Pakistan applications are now being processed at London Visa Office instead of Islamabad visa office. Processing time of LVO is 28 months as I last checked on CIC website whereas islamabad official time is 47 months which u mentioned.
If everything is complete in the application package people got done in as early as 5-6 months door to door...

Hi thanks for that, I didn't know about London, just one more thing please on part one it said today " files given on 26th October are being processed" something along those lines, how does this work ? Roughly how long does part one take?
