can you please rectify my re-med request date as it was 17th September not October, the medical was done on 22nd October as the delay in the re-med was caused by a typo error in my mailing address. due to which i haven't received the medical request earlier

Yes....You need to have a transit visa..

If you guys are going outside of the airport then you need a visa other wise if it's only few hours stay you will be sent to another gate where you will catch your connecting flight in this case no need any visa requirements but it's better to take direct flight to Canada and avoid US as they waste a lot of your time if your name somehow matches with Red flag ppl they will take you on a side and ask bunch of random questions (I'm saying this from personal experience) flight may b a bit more expensive but you will save a lot of your time and stress.

I thought you mentioned that you are going to Vancouver, so the better airlines would be China, Cathay Pacific or Singapore.

book a 20' container through a reputed freight forwarder it is a long process, they will arrange every thing for u.

I am getting the quotes but they are just too expensive. Is there a way we can book half a container?

yes u can if you have two parties of partial container you can do half half..

Just as a reminder for Pakistani applicants applying through London, myself and another member of this forum maintain a spreadsheet which tracks applications going through London. You will find a link to the spreadsheet in my forum signature.

If you would like to be added to the spreadsheet please provide the following. Note that if you are from Pakistan then you will are non-visa exempt.

-Date application received in Mississauga
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law
-Date of sponsor approval
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email)
-Date the permanent residence status changed to In Process on ECAS
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!
-Date of medical exam
