Thanks so much! And, no I haven't got back our original documents yet. I am pretty sure the originals come to the sponsor, not the applicant.

I didn't get them back yet. Usually they return to sponsor's address.

What is the procedure to pay the fees to Sponsor the Spouse?
For sponsorship application before sending to Mississauga for only one person.
Is the following Breakdown of Sponsorship Fees correct?
Right of Permanent Residence Fee $490.00
Family Class
Sponsorship application (per application) $75.00
Principal applicant $475.00

Total fees to pay is : $1040.00

Would anyone please help me understand, how long it might take to change the status on E-Case from In Process to DM? If you folks have any idea for even an approximate time?

Mine is In Process since first week of September, it is now third week of October, so how much I should expect to wait? The medical of my wife would expire in January 2016, I hope we would get the visa at least a month before that so that she have enough time to prepare for the move.

Yeah it's correct. The easiest way to pay the fee is to pay from debit or credit card. Other ways are complicated .

What is the approximate time Karachi vfs is taking to return the passports? Has anyone got any idea? As I see Islamabad vfs has returned in 3-4 days too, but we have not heard at all. My husband submitted his passport 12 days back. Anyone recently got their passport from khi vfs?

that's not true that Islamabad VFS takes only 3to 4 days to return passport. I've submitted my passport in Islamabad VFS on October 7 but still waiting :-[. Hope so get it soon.
