I submitted my application on Aug 16 2015 and received an application number and UCI in an email from CIC on sep 26 but after that no more updates. And if I try to check my status it just shows me a note that either the information is incorrect or we haven't started processing ur application. Is that fine?? I'm so confused. :-\

Try with application number/case number instead of UCI. Make sure the date of birth input is in the correct format. Also some people make mistake in their surname/family name.
If its a family sponsorship case then try the same UCI or Application number with date of birth and family name of your spouse.

just go to govt hospital ask them m going abroad and I need polio vaccine certificate they gonna give u couple of polio drops and will give u polio certificate

Go to Agha Khan hospital Clifton or main AKU they charge 100 rs and will give u a polio vaccination card

The overall processing time is getting shorter and shorter! Let's hope this continues even after elections next week so all the pending 2014 and 2015 cases can be completed asap.

My question is i already sent the MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE in english. Are they asking for something else? Because i am not getting it. Please help me and why did they say "Please allow four months for us to review incoming correspondence" Please tell me

Have you send them Urdu Nikah nama and its certified English translation? this is what they are asking for along with NADRA / UC issued Nikah certificate. But if your Nikahnama was in English originally then write them and explain them you never had Urdu one.

I have not received any email yet confirming the receipt of file. Someone told me that normally they confirm receipt of file in 2 business days.

They will not email you to confirm receipt of the application. Your tracking is the only thing you can rely on. Your first correspondence from Mississauga will not be until they open your file. Currently it is taking upto 60 days for stage 1 approval. Just wait patiently for another 2 months before you hear anything.
