I am the sponsor and have been living with my wife in Karachi, Pakistan since 2006. We applied in first week of Aug 2014, submitted updated IMM1344 form in Sep, thus the CIC considered application as complete since Sep 10, 2014. My wife had her re-med on May 28, 2015, case went in process on Aug 10, 2015, then a big silence until yesterday we received another re-med request.

We suspect either they have lost results of our first re-med or IOM-Karachi never sent it to LVO/NDVO.

May I ask you what information u sent to CIC regarding your arrangements for moving back to Canada including any preparations that u have done in this regard. Also were u called for an interview?
How many applicants were included in ur application?

I'm an April applicant. I'm sponsoring my wife. Her file was transferred to LVO on June 2nd 2015. On Tuesday on ecas, the status changed from application received to in process. They started processing the file on June 7th. My wife medical expired on October 6th 2015. So my question is how long does it take for status to change from in process to decision made. My 2nd question would be, Are they going to request another medical exam? My wife is currently visiting US, I went to see her for 3 weeks. I was going to send the pictures from my trip and the same time the status changed. Should I wait and see or should send the pictures and boarding passes to LVO that I visited my wife. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks guys and good luck

We actually received an email from NDVO on Friday, Oct 09, 2015 for another re-med, so is that the thing LVO is referring to? you can also add in the notes column that we received our first re-med request on May 19, 2015, took re-med on May 28, 2015.

God how can they ask for 2nd re-medical a you already did remidical in May. you still have medical which is still valid for more then 7 month. I dont know whats going on with these guys. I guess you should send CSI to LVO regardsing that. they might have missed your remidical which you send in May. Anyways best of luck

Today I checked my Ecase status which shows "in process"
Its showing we processing ur file in September 2014
I m little confused if they strt process in sep 2014 then why they updated status after one year?? And why we can't get any crospondence from them
Anyone else in same situation plz reply me thnxx

Well put yourself in the case processor shoe, why did you send in additional documents voluntarily? The more enquiries you do the more they could get suspicious, so just be patient and hope for the best. LVO is processing 2015 applications really fast. Did they asked you for anything else. If your case is in process that's a good news and very soon you will get DM. Just hold your horses .

Alhamdulillah very humbly i am pleased to tell you guys that i received my ppr yesterday Thank God. although its been a long patient ride and i pray that may Allah make this easier for everybody and grant them their visas as soon as possible. Amen.

I have been a silent reader of this forum and this forum has helped me a lot in every step along the way.

Now i have two questions:
1) the ppr says to submit the passport to VAC and i want to courier my passport to VAC. so plz guide me what courier is preferrable and what exactly to send in that courier along with my passport ( i mean what fees of submission for VAC. how to submit that and the appendix A chart and photographs etc)?
2) we recently changed shifted from our previous address to new one. so do we have to inform cic about this chage of address. i am confused as they have mentioned in email to inform them of changes in mailing address which we gave as my husband's address in canada. So plz help me in this regard. Also if the mailing address has to be changed how should the changes be made before passport submission or after it?

first medical: February 2014
Addtl docs: January 2015
Re-med done: Sept 16, 2014 (Here is a twist in story, they didnt send us remed letter but kept asking us to send a remed date. so we didnt wait for the letter and got the remed done at IOM islamabad. i still dont know if they will send us the remed letter or ask to do medical again. i hope that doesnt happen)

It seems like that the ECAS is talking about the remed request you received ... I am am amazed that if u had your remed in May then why are they needing that again so soon

I don't think this is for medical. Either they gave wrong update on CIC or they've sent u a wrong email. For medical requests they should have updated this line: We sent you medical instructions on blah blah, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. and for additional documents requests this is what usually they update on CIC: We sent you correspondence on blah blah, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required. This is from my experience so I think they have mixed up things in ur case. Two pieces of advice I can give u. First, check ur Ecas status using both applicants and sponsors UCI number to see if u can find the mistake. Second when you book re-medical appointment thru email do explain your situation so that they can check and assure you whether ur name/file has been forwarded for the re medical or not. If it has thn this might mean that your results from earlier medical weren't clear or weren't properly taken etc u never know.
